Clinical Study About Of Sensorineural Hearing Loss Combined With Low WRS Treated By Acupuncture-drug Combination Based On Invigorating The Spleen And Nourishing The Kidney

Purpose:To evaluate the effect of the programme of “Invigorating the spleen and nourishing the kidney”on the auditory sense,speech recognition ability and the degree of communication fear in Sensorineural hearing loss with low WRS treated by acupuncture-drug combination.Methods: A total of 35 deafness with low speech recognition whose WRS was ≤80% and between the 35-65 dB were recruited according to the diagnostic criteria of TCM and Western diagnostic criteria,who were collected from June 2006 to March 2018 at the Department of Otolaryngology of Chengdu University of Traditional ChineseMedicine/Sichuan Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine.Finally 30 cases were included in the statistics,and 4 cases were lost,and 1 case was excluded.According to the principle of random grouping,it was divided into experimental group(acupuncture + Chinese medicine group)with 10 people 16 ears,control group 1(acupuncture group)with 10 people 17 ears and control group 2(Chinese medicine group)with 10 people 16 ears.After completing the CRF form and related tests at 4 points,including before treatment,after treatment 2 weeks,4 weeks and 6 weeks.The improvement of auditory ability,speech recognition ability and communication fear level in patients with low speech recognition deafness were evaluated with pure tone audiometry,speech recognition rate and Personal report of communication apprehension(PRCA-24).The final result data were analyzed by SPSS 19.0 software.Results:1.The method of enhancing-spleen and nourishing-kidney can effectively improve the pure tone hearing threshold and verbal recognition rate of patients with deafness with low speech recognition(P<0.05),in which the acupuncture-drug combination group is superior to the acupuncture group and the traditional Chinese medicine group(P<0.05).2.The method of enhancing-spleen and nourishing-kidney can improve the pure tone hearing threshold and speech recognition rate of deafness patients with low speech recognition(P<0.05),and the curative effect was stable(P>0.05).3.The method of enhancing-spleen and nourishing-kidney can effectively alleviate the fear level of two-person conversational of deafness patients with low speech recognition and total fear score(P<0.05),but the exchange fear level does not decrease significantly with the improvement of speech recognition ability.4.A total of 30 patients with hearing impairment were included in this trial.The age ranged from 27 to 75 years old and the average age was 46.97±13.60 years old.There were 16 males and 14 females.After the chi-square test,baseline data(such as gender,age,ear side,hearing loss,speech recognition loss and communication fear)were distributed evenly(P > 0.05),and the statistical analysis was comparable.Conclusion:1.The method of acupuncture-drug combination based on enhancing-spleen and nourishing-kidney is effective in improving speech recognition rate in deafness patients with low speech recognition,and is better than acupuncture group and Chinese medicine group.2.The method of acupuncture-drug combination based on enhancing-spleen and nourishing-kidney in the treatment of deafness patients was effective in improving the pure tone hearing threshold of patients with deafness,and was better than acupuncture group and Chinese medicine group.3.The method of acupuncture-drug combination based on enhancing-spleen and nourishing-kidney can alleviate the fear level of two-person conversational deafness patients with low speech recognition and overall communication fear.
