| Objectives:To study the action and mechanism of the method of invigorating the spleen and kidney benefiting qi and nourishing yin on how to influence rats blood glucose,SOD, MDA,INOS and SODmRNA,INOSmRNA and how to improve their disorder states of the rats models suffering in injecting STZ in the abdomen.Methods:In this study,we establish DM rats by intraperitioneal injection of STZ and divide into six groups randomly,iemodel control group,low dosage group,middle dosage group,high dosage group of yang shen yu tang wan,tang niao le group,metformin hydrochloride group and normal control group respectively.After twenty-eight days treatment,we detect rats following parameters including blood glucose,the weight,SOD,MDA,INOS of the pancreatic tissues.In the meanwhile,the rats pancreatic tissues are also made into pathological section for analysis.In the end,the rats pancreatic tissues are made to analysise mRNA of SOD,and INOS.Through biological method,histomorphometry,radiommunoassay and RT-PCR, the differences among the different groups on the paramenters above were detected.Results:The Chinese medicine from invigorating the spleen and kidney benefiting qi and nourishing yin can improve the disorder stage of the model rats suffering from DM.The middle dosage group can decrease blood glucose,increase SOD,decrease MDA of the pancreatic tissues.Compared with model control group,they have more great differences(P＜0.01);Compared with tang niao le group,they have great differences(P＜0.05). In the meanwhile,it can decrease INOS,but it only have great differences with model control group(P＜0.05).The expression of INOSmRNA is the same.The expression of SODmRNA is improved in three different dosage groups.The middle dosage group is the best.Conclusion:The Chinese medicine from invigorating the spleen and kidney benefiting qi and nourishing yin can improve the antioxidative ability of rats suffering from DM partly.
