Objectives:To analyze the characteristics of glycemic variablity(GV)in pregnant women with gestational diabetes mellitus(GDM)under different intervention methods, and to compare the pregnancy outcomes of pregnant women with normal glucose tolerance and GDM.Methods:By means of data analysis, data of 200 cases of GDM patients and 100 cases of normal pregnant women in our hospital from June 2013 to December 2017 were collected, which were respectively set as the experimental group and the control group. The experimental group was divided into two groups according to the treatment method:Group A was lifestyle improvement group and Group B was lifestyle improve-ment plus insulin treatment group. All incorporated subjects underwent continuous observation for 2 months associated with the collection of clinical data.Further compari-son was carried out concerning blood sugar levels before and after treatment,GV during nutritional intervention, pregnancy outcomes and weight gain. Results:Baseline data of the control group and the experimental group were consistent. In terms of blood sugar level,it was significantly higher in the experimental group than that of the eontrol group before treatment;after MNT,the blood sugar level of Group A was decreased obviously in the second week, while that of Group B showed remarkable reduction in the first week.Furthermore,as for GV,the standard deviation blood glucose(SDBG),postprandial glycemic excursion(PPGE)and incidence of hy-poglycemia were higher in Group B than those in Group A in the early stage of MNT.In the aspect of body weight growth, the rate of insufficient weight gain during preg-nancy in Group A was significantly higher than that in Group B.Additionally, for the comparison of pregnancy outcomes, the clinical outcomes of the control group were better than those of the experimental group.Besides, the premature rupture rate of membranes was higher in Group A than that in Group B,while the rates of excessive amniotic fluid, neonatal hypoglycemia and pregnancy-induced hypertension were higher in Group B than those in Group A.Conclusion:1.Standardized MNT may contribute to effective reduction in blood sugar level and GV in pregnant women with GDM.2.The occurrence of hypoglycemia and insufficient weight gain during MNT should be paid much attention to in pregnant women with GDM.3.Pre-treatment fasting blood glucose and PPGE are independent risk factors for adverse pregnancy outcomes of pregnant women with GDM receiving insulin therapy in Group B.
