Objective:By observing the improvement of hot flashes and sweating symptoms, the changes of sex hormones, endothelin(ET)and nitric oxide(NO)levels in menopausal syndrome patients with Yin deficiency treated by Gengnianxin, exploring the clinical effect of Gengrnianxin on hot flashes and sweating in menopausal syndrome of Yin deficiency type and the mechanism of its effect on vasomotor function,to provide clinical basis for the treatment of hot flashes and sweating in menopausal syndrome with Yin deficiency by traditional Chinese medicine.Methods:60 cases of menopausal syndrome with hot flashes and sweating Yin deficiency were collected and randomly divided into treatment group and control group with 30 cases in each group by digital table method;treatment group, menopause new,1 dose a day, morning and evening;control group,Kuntai capsule,4 capsules,3 times a day;continuous 2 months as a course of treatment, menstrual discontinuation. The changes of sweating score, temperature and humidity difference,Kupperman score, serum E2,FSH and LH levels, serum ET,NO levels and ET/NO ratio were observed before and after treatment.SPSS23.0 software was used to analyze the data, evaluate the clinical efficacy of drugs, and explore its mechanism.Results:(1)The change of sweat score of hot flashes:After treatment, sweat score of hot flashes in both groups was significantly lower than that before treatment(P<0.01);after treatment, sweat score of hot flashes in treatment group was lower than that in control group(P<0.05).(2)The change of frontal temperature difference during hot flashes:The difference of frontal temperature between the two groups after treatment was significantly lower than that before treatment(P<0.01);the difference of frontal temperature in the treatment group was significantly lower than that in the control group after treatment(P<0.01).(3)The change of frontal humidity difference during hot flashes:After treatment, the difference of frontal humidity between the two groups was significantly lower than that before treatment(P<0.01);after treatment, the difference of frontal humidity in the treatment group was significantly lower than that in the control group(P<0.01).(4)The change of Kupperman score:After treatment, the Kupperman score of the two groups was significantly lower than that before treatment(P<0.01);after treatment, the Kupperman score of the treatment group was significantly lower than that of the control group(P<0.01).(5)The change of E2 level:E2 level in the treatment group was significantly higher than that before treatment(P<0.01),while that in the control group was significantly higher after treatment(P<0.05);the E2 level in the treatment group was not significantly higher than that in the control group after treatment(P>0.05).(6)The change of FSH level:FSH level in the treatment group was significantly lower than that before treatment(P<0.01),while that in the control group was significantly lower than that before treatment(P<0.05);FSH level in the treatment group was lower than that in the control group after treatment(P<0.05).(7)The change of LH level:After treatment, the level of LH in the treatment group was significantly lower than that before treatment(P<0.01),while that in the control group was significantly lower than that before treatment(P<0.05);after treatment, the level of LH in the treatment group was lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).(8)The change of ET level:After treatment,ET level in the treatment group was significantly lower than that before treatment(P<0.01),while that in the control group was significantly lower than that before treatment(P<0.05);after treatment,ET level in the treatment group was significantly lower than that in the control group(P<0.01).(9)The change of NO level:After treatment,NO level in the treatment group was significantly higher than that before treatment(P<0.01),while that in the control group was significantly higher than that before treatment(P<0.05);after treatment,NO level in the treatment group was higher than that in the control group(P<0.05).(10)The change of ET/NO ratio:After treatment, the ET/NO ratio of the two groups was significantly lower than that before treatment(P<0.01);after treatment, the ET/NO ratio of the treatment group was lower than that of the control group(P<0.05).(11)Comparing the comprehensive curative effect;15 cases(50.00%)were cured,8 cases(27.00%)were markedly effective,7 cases(23.00%)were effective, and the total effective rate was 100.00%;8 cases(27.00%)were cured,6 cases(20.00%)were markedly effective,4 cases(13.00%)were effective,4 cases(13.00%)were ineffective, and the total effective rate was 87.00%.The comprehensive curative effect of the treatment group was significantly better than that of the control group(P<0.01).(12)Safety:In this study, there were no significant abnormalities in blood routine, liver and kidney function and electrocardiogram before and after treatment in both groups. Conclusion:The new treatment of menopausal syndrome of Yin deficiency has satisfactory clinical efficacy. It can not only improve the clinical symptoms such as insomnia, anxiety, limb joint pain, especially the symptoms of hot flashes and sweating, but also promote the elevation of E2 level, the decrease of FSH and LH level, and improve the endocrine status of menopausal women. It can also reduce ET level, elevate NO level, improve vasomotor function, and is safe.No toxic side effects.
