Clinical Observation Of Jianpi Bushen Yizhi Decoction In The Treatment Of Spleen And Kidney Yang Deficiency Alzheimer's Disease Abstract

Objective: To observe the clinical efficacy and safety of Jianpi Bushen Yizhi Decoction in the treatment of Alzheimer's disease of spleen and kidney yang deficiency,and to provide new methods and ideas for clinical practice.Methods: Western medicine diagnosis refers to the Manual of Diagnosis and Statistics of Mental Diseases(4th edition)and NIN-AA criteria,which are likely to belong to the diagnostic criteria of AD.The diagnosis of TCM is in accordance with the diagnostic criteria in the "Diagnosis,Syndrome Differentiation and Therapeutic Evaluation Criteria of Senile Dementia".The diagnosis of TCM syndromes should conform to the syndrome of deficiency of spleen and kidney yang formulated in the "Guiding Principles for Clinical Research of New Drugs in Traditional Chinese Medicine".A total of 60 AD patients who met the above criteria were randomly divided into treatment group and control group with 30 cases each.The control group was given Donepezil Hydrochloride Tablets orally,while the treatment group was given Jianpi Bushen Yizhi Recipe on the basic treatment of the control group.One course of treatment lasted for 4 weeks.After two courses of treatment,the results of treatment were observed by MMSE,ADL and TCM symptom scale,and the safety of treatment was also evaluated.Results:(1)The scores of MMSE scale in the treatment group were higher than those in the control group(P < 0.05),and the effective rate in the treatment group was better than that in the control group(P < 0.05);(2)Compared with the control group,the score of ADL scale in the treatment group was lower than that in the control group(P < 0.05),and the effective rate in the treatment group was better than that in the control group(P < 0.05);(3)Comparing the changes of TCM symptoms between the two groups after treatment,The treatment group was superior to the control group in improving the symptoms of AD patients' mental retardation,limb warmth,weakness of waist and knee,shortness of breath and laziness,lack of appetite and inertia,and Feces do not form.(P < 0.05);(4)To evaluate the safety of the two groups,there were no obvious side effects in the treatment group.Conclusion: The treatment of Alzheimer's disease with Jianpi Bushen Yizhi Decoction on the basis of Western medicine can significantly improve the patients' intelligence,quality of daily life and related TCM syndromes,and has good safety.
