Clinical Application Study Of Botulinum Toxin Type A In Facial Rejuvenation

Objective:To study the clinical application and effect evaluation of botulinum toxin type A in facial rejuvenation.Methods:65 patients with facial wrinkles,23 patients with masseter muscle hypertrophy,and 11 patients with skin sagging of lower face were selected,a total of 99 patients.According to the distribution of facial wrinkles,the degree of masseter muscle hypertrophy,and the loose lower face contour,the corresponding injection site,dose,and method were selected,and the wrinkle effect evaluation,ratio of facial measurement value,mandibular angle measurement,lower lifting measurement,and subjective satisfaction questionnaire were used to evaluate the effect of botulinum toxin type A after injection.Results:The total effective rate of 65 patients with facial wrinkles after injection was 100%,and the ineffective rate was 0.There was no significant difference in the ratio of upper to middle facial width and the ratio of facial highness to middle facial width of masseteric hypertrophy(P>0.05),the ratio of lower to middle facial width was decreased after treatment,the difference value is statistically significant(P<0.05).The left and right sides of the mandibular angle increased by an average of 6° in 1 month after operation,and an average of 3° in 6 months after operation.The horizontal distance between the middle of the mouth and the mandibular rim MN,the vertical distance between the external canthus point and the mandibular edge OP,the vertical distance between the midpoint of the pupil and the mandibular edge QR in 10 patients with skin sagging of lower face,the distance value after treatment was reduced compared with that before treatment.Subjective satisfaction questionnaire results showed great satisfaction as high as 96.97%,basic satisfaction was 3.03%,no dissatisfied patients.Conclusions:Botulinum toxin type A injection has a remarkable therapeutic effect on facial rejuvenation,and patients is highly satisfied.It is a minimally invasive,safe,efficient,convenient and reversible facial rejuvenation treatment method.
