Objective:To investigate the relationship between ALT and severity of coronary atherosclerosis in patients with coronary heart disease(CHD).Methods:708hospitalized patients who first completed coronary angiography were selected. The subjects were divided into control group(135 cases, coronary angiographic stenosis<50%)and coronary heart disease group(573 cases,at least one coronary artery stenosis?50%).The subjects of coronary heart disease group were included in the patients who were first diagnosed as angina pectoris.According to the median of Gensini score,CHD group was divided into low score group(292 cases,2~25 points)and high score group(281 cases,26~192 points).General data were collected, hematological liver function, renal function and lipid analysis were carried out to analyze the correlation between serum ALT level and the degree of CHD.Results:Gensini score,ALT,IBIL,BMI,TGALP and Cystatin C in CHD group were higher than those in control group, while GLB in CHD group was lower than that in control group,P < 0.05.ALT,AST,ALP,TP,GLB,GGT and 5'-NT in Gensini high score group were higher than those in low score group,DBIL and osmotic pressure in high score group were lower than those in low score group,P < 0.05.The high score of coronary artery lesion in ALT elevated group was significantly higher than that in ALT elevated group,P < 0.05.In the ROC curve, the best cut-off point for ALT level to diagnose Gensini high score was 19.90U/L,the sensitivity was 81.1%,the specificity was 52.1%,and the area under the curve was 0.704,95% CI: 0.651~0.746,P <0.05.Conclusion: ALT can help to diagnose the severity of coronary artery disease in patients with CHD.
