Objective:Using sperm chromatin diffusion experiment(SCD)to detect the male infertility patients sperm DNA damage index(DFI)and comparing it with the sperm morphological parameters.Discussing and analyzing:1)the correlation between sperm DNA integrity and partial semen parameters.2)sperm DNA integrity and the correlation of in vitro fertilization and embryo transfer technique clinical outcomes.Methods:Collecting669 infertile couples who needed assisted reproductive technology in the first affiliated hospital of Xinjiang Medical University from January 2017 to December 2018,perform routine testing of semen on them.Calculate the degree of sperm DNA fragments of Sperm DNA fragmentation index(DFI).Clinical outcomes were analyzed by different DFIs in the in vitro fertilization and intracytoplasmic sperm injection group using the SPSS 25.0system.Results:1)There was no significant difference in cleavage rate and quality embryo rate between the DFI subgroups in the IVF/ICSI insemination patients(P>0.05).2)There were statistical differences in normal fertilization rate(2=42.544,P=0.000)and clinical pregnancy rate(2=12.043,P=0.007)(2=174.929,P=0.000)among the DFI subgroups in IVF.3)In DFI<10%: normal fertilization rate in the IVF group(2=8.992,P=0.003),available embryo rate(2=16.611,P=0.000),clinical pregnancy rate(2=10.070,P=0.002)Both were significantly larger than the ICSI group.4)When the sperm DFI>30%,the embryo rate(IV=11.721,P=0.001)in the IVF group was significantly smaller than that in the ICSI group. Conclusion:Sperm DNA integrity is correlated with clinical outcomes such as normal fertilization rate and clinical pregnancy rate, and sperm DNA integrity and sustained pregnancy rate, live birth rate, and postnatal birth conditions require further follow-up studies.
