Clinical Study Of Yangxin Tongmai Ⅱ Prescription In The Treatment Of Chronic Heart Failure With Deficiency Of Qi And Yin

Objective:To evaluate the clinical effect of Yangxin TongmaiⅡprescription in the treatment of chronic heart failure(CHF)with deficiency of Qi and Yin,so as to provide a new approach for the treatment of CHF with traditional Chinese medicine.Methods:108 patients with deficiency of Qi and Yin in chronic heart failure in the First Affiliated Hospital of Guangxi University of Traditional Chinese Medicine from November 2017 to November 2018 were selected and divided into two groups according to random number table.The control group(n=54cases)was treated with routine western medicine,while the treatment group(n=54 cases)was treated with Yangxin TongmaiⅡprescription on the basis of routine western medicine for 4 weeks.The N-terminal pro-B-type natriuretic peptide(NT-proBNP),heart rate variability(HRV),TCM syndrome score,the curative effect of TCM syndromes,cardiac function effect and Minnesota Heart Failure Questionnaire(MLHFQ)were compared between the two groups before and after treatment.SPSS 18.0 statistical software was used for data analysis.The measurement data were expressed as"?x±s",the test was used for normal distribution,rank sum test was used for non-normal distribution,x~2 test was used for counting data and rank sum test was used for rank data.Results:1.There were no significant differences in gender,age,course of disease,cardiac function classification,basic diseases,NT-proBNP,HRV,TCM syndrome score and MLHFQ score between the two groups before treatment(P>0.05).2.NT-proBNP comparison between the two groups:After treatment,NT-proBNP in both groups was lower than that before treatment(P<0.05),especially in the treatment group(P<0.05).3.HRV comparison between the two groups:After treatment,LF and HF in both groups were higher than those before treatment(P<0.05),and the increase in treatment group was more obvious(P<0.05);after treatment,LF/HF in both groups were lower than those before treatment(P<0.05),and the decrease in treatment group was more obvious(P<0.05).4.Comparisons of TCM syndrome scores between the two groups:After treatment,the scores of TCM syndromes in the two groups were lower than those before treatment(P<0.05),and the decrease in the treatment group was more obvious(P<0.05).5.Comparison of curative effect of TCM syndromes between two groups:After treatment,the total effective rate was 85.18%in the treatment group and61.11%in the control group(P<0.05).6.Comparisons of cardiac function between the two groups:After treatment,the total effective rate of cardiac function was 90.74%in the treatment group and 81.48%in the control group(P<0.05).7.MLHFQ scores comparison between the two groups:After treatment,the MLHFQ scores of the two groups were lower than those before treatment(P<0.05),and the decrease of the treatment group was more obvious(P<0.05).Conclusions:1.On the basis of standardized treatment of Western medicine,Yangxin Tongmai II prescription can effectively improve the cardiac function and HRV of CHF patients with deficiency of both Qi and Yin,alleviate TCM syndromes and improve the quality of life.Its curative effect is better than the control group(conventional western medicine treatment),without adverse reactions,safe and effective,which is worthy of clinical recommendation.2.The mechanism of Yangxin Tongmai II prescription in treating CHF with deficiency of both Qi and Yin may be related to its regulation of autonomic nervous function,improvement of HRV and anti-heart failure.
