| 1.PurposeBy observing the changes in BNP level,LVEF,NYHA cardiac function classification,6MWT,TCM Evidence Score,MLHFQ Scale score and Lee’s Heart Failure Score before and after the treatment of chronic heart failure(heart-kidney yin deficiency syndrome)with the teacher’s self-developed formula Yishui Yangxin Tang,the efficacy of this formula in treating chronic heart failure(heart-kidney yin deficiency syndrome)was preliminarily evaluated.2.MethodsFrom January 2022 to December 2022,60 patients with CHF(LVEF<50%)in the Department of Cardiovascular Medicine,First Affiliated of Anhui University of TCM and who met the diagnosis of heart-kidney yin deficiency were collected and divided into two group,the treatment group and the control group,which group has 30 patients each according to the randomized number table method.The control group was treated with the conventional Western medical treatment,and the treatment group was treated with the self-formulated formula Yishui Yangxin Tang on top of the control group for a period of 4 weeks.In the study,we must timely follow up and investigate the patient’s medication,symptoms and adverse reactions.It was analyzed statistically with IBM SPSS 25.0 that The results of BNP level,left ventricular ejection fraction,NYHA cardiac function classification,6 MWT,Chinese medicine evidence score,Minnesota Heart Failure Quality of Life Scale score and Lee’s Heart Failure Score were counted before and after treatment in both groups.3.Results(1)Comparison of BNP before and after treatment: BNP decreased in both groups after treatment,but the decline of the treatment group was more pronounced,and the difference was statistically distinct(P<0.05).(2)Comparison of LVEF before and after treatment: patients’ LVEF improved in both group after treatment,and the raise was more pronounced in the treatment group(P<0.05).The difference in improvement of LVEF is statistically significant.(3)Comparison of NYHA cardiac function grading before and after treatment: after treatment,the cardiac function of both groups were improved,with the treatment group improving more remarkable(P<0.05).In addition,the efficiency of the treatment group in enhancing cardiac function was extremely higher than that of the control group(P<0.05),and the differences were all statistically significant.(4)Comparison of 6 MWT before and after treatment: after treatment the 6-minute walking distance gauged by the 6 MWT increased in both groups,but the increase of the treatment group was markedly higher than in the control group(P<0.05).(5)Comparison of TCM syndrome score before and after treatment: the TCM syndrome score of patients in both groups were decreased conspicuously(P<0.01)after treatment,with a more obvious decline in the treatment group(P<0.01).The efficiency of the two groups as assessed by the TCM syndrome efficacy was 79.31% in the treatment group and 41.38% in the control group,with the efficiency of the treatment group being higher than that of the control group(P<0.05).(6)Comparison of MLHFQ scores before and after treatment: both groups completed the MLHFQ before and after treatment,and the scores in the treatment group were obviously lower than those in the control group after treatment(P<0.05).(7)Lee’s heart failure score evaluation before and after treatment: Both groups of patients completed Lee’s heart failure score evaluation before and after treatment,and the treatment group was apparently lower than the control group after treatment(P<0.05);The efficiency rate of two group was 75.86% for the treatment group and 48.28% for the control group,and the treatment group was better than the control group by Lee’s score efficiency assessment(P<0.05).4.ConclusionYishui Yangxin Decoction united with routine therapy of western medicine can effectively ameliorate the clinical symptoms,reduce BNP and increase LVEF,delay the progress with CHF,and without obvious adverse reactions.It broaden the clinical treatment ideas of CHF,which is worthy of further study. |
