Objective:To determine the symptom group by analyzing the symptoms of cervical cancer patients during concurrent chemoradiotherapy. At the same time,to understand the quality of life of patients with cervical cancer, through the correlation study between symptom group and quality of life during concurrent chemoradiotherapy of cervical cancer patients, provide a basis for nursing staff to improve symptom management, and propose corresponding symptom management strategies. Methods:In this study,a cross-sectional study was conducted. From May 2018 to October2018,200 patients with concurrent chemoradiotherapy of cervical cancer admitted to the Oncology Department of a hospital in Jiangxi Province were selected as subjects.Through the questionnaire survey, the questionnaire included the general information questionnaire, the Anderson Symptom Assessment Scale(MDASI),and the Cancer Treatment Functional System Assessment Scale(FACT-G).Understand the general personal data, symptoms and quality of life of patients with cervical cancer. The data were analyzed by SPSS20.0 statistical software. The quantitative data were expressed as mean±standard deviation((?)±s);The qualitative data were expressed by x~2 test;the symptom group was determined by principal component analysis;Pearson correlation analysis was used.Correlation between symptom group and quality of life;multiple stepwise regression was used to explore factors affecting patients' quality of life.Results:1.During the concurrent chemoradiotherapy of cervical cancer patients, the top 5 symptoms were fatigue in 172 cases(98.9%),nausea in 170 cases(97.7%),sadness in 169 cases(97.1%),and poor appetite in 168 cases(96.6%).162 cases(93.1%)were uneasy sleep;the top 5 symptoms were sorrow(4.76±2.10),fatigue(4.58±2.44),poor appetite(4.51±2.06),and restlessness(4.23±2.45).Points,vomiting(4.18±1.93)points.2.In this study, there were four symptom clusters during the simultaneous chemotherapy and radiotherapy for patients with cervical cancer:affective symptom clusters, gastrointestinal symptom clusters,fatigue-related symptom clusters, and treatment side effect symptom clusters.Among them, the emotional symptom clusters has the highest score and the highest contribution rate.3.The total quality of life of patients with cervical cancer during concurrent chemoradiotherapy was(89.30±6.16).The scores of the other four dimensions were:physiological status(14.69±3.73),social/family status(20.63±4.41),and emotion Status(16.78±3.57)points,functional status(18.48±3.31) points.4.Pearson correlation analysis was performed between the symptom clusters and quality of life during cervical chemoradiotherapy. The dimensions of quality of life were significantly negatively correlated with the four symptom clusters during cervical chemoradiotherapy(P<0.01).Discussion:1.Cervical cancer patients during the concurrent chemoradiotherapy symptoms, degree, and trouble, nursing staff should be more sensitive to cervical cancer patients after treatment caused by fatigue, nausea and other reactions to strengthen care.2.Cervical cancer patients have multiple related symptom groups, the highest score of affective symptom group, nursing staff should pay attention to the psychological reaction of patients with cervical cancer after treatment.3.There was a significant negative correlation between symptom group and quality of life in cervical cancer patients. The appearance of symptom group seriously affected the quality of life of patients.Nursing staff should actively evaluate the symptoms of patients, improve the management of symptom groups, strengthen the prevention and intervention of symptoms,to reduce the patient's symptom burden, and thus improve the quality of life.
