Objective:To evaluate the effect and adverse reactions of percutaneous microwave ablation combined with systemic chemotherapy in the treatment of advanced non-small cell lung cancer compared with chemotherapy alone. Methods:Through Pubmed,Embase,The Cochrane Library,Wanfang,CNKI,VIP to retrieve the relevant microwave ablation in combination with chemotherapy in the treatment of locally advanced non-small cell lung cancer randomized controlled trials, retrieve the time limit for a library to March 2019,and filter into The Cochrane assist network bias risk assessment method to evaluate the literature quality,A meta-analysis was performed using the Review Manager5.3 statistical software. Results:A total of 11 randomized controlled trials literatures were included, with a total of 873 patients with advanced non-small cell lung cancer, including 437 patients in the microwave ablation combined with systemic chemotherapy and 436 patients in the chemotherapy alone group.Meta-analysis showed that: objective effective rate(OR = 2.76,95% CI: [2.06,3.68],P < 0.00001),disease control rate(OR = 2.90,95% CI [2.02,4.16],P < 0.00001),half-year survival rate(OR = 2.91,95% CI: [1.66,5.13],P < 0.0002),1-year survival rate(OR = 2.89,95% CI:[1.77,4.69],P < 0.0001),the differences between the two groups in each of the four indicators were statistically significant. The incidence of leukopenia(OR = 1.17,95% CI [0.72,1.92],P=0.53),the incidence of thrombocytopenia(OR = 0.88,95% CI: [0.56,1.41],P=0.60),and the incidence of gastrointestinal reactions(OR = 1.15,95% CI: [0.75,1.75],P=0.52).Conclusion:Percutaneous local microwave ablation combined with systemic chemotherapy does not increase the incidence of adverse reactions to chemotherapy compared with chemotherapy alone in the treatment of advanced non-small cell lung cancer, but the short-term and long-term efficacy is better than chemotherapy alone, which is worthy of clinical promotion. However, due to the uneven quality of the research,it still needs to be confirmed by the follow-up high-quality,large enough sample size and multi-center randomized controlled trials.
