Objective:This paper summarized the distribution characteristics of TCM syndromes of polycystic ovary syndrome and the incidence of anxiety and depression, understood the relationship between various related factors and the occurrence and development of the disease, and further explored the correlation between TCM syndromes of polycystic ovary syndrome and emotional factors,in order to provide objective reference data for etiological research. Methods :In this study,220 PCOS patients were surveyed and scored by general situation questionnaire,self-designed Chinese medicine syndrome questionnaire of polycystic ovary syndrome,self-rating anxiety scale(SAS),self-rating depression scale(SDS),and life event scale(LES).SPSS25.0 was used for statistical analysis of the data.Results:(1)The number of effective cases in this survey was 205,and the proportion of kidney deficiency syndrome in TCM dialectical classification was the largest(35.12%).Secondly,liver depression syndrome and phlegm-dampness syndrome account for 26.83%and 23.41% respectively.Blood stasis syndrome was the least, accounting for 14.63%.Mental workers are the high-risk group of PCOS,accounting for 82.93%.(2)Among the 205 patients with PCOS,28.29% were in the state of anxiety, with mild anxiety as the main component. The average score of the scale was 43.98 8.73.Depression accounted for 29.26%,mainly mild depression, and the average score of the scale was 46.00 11.13.Mean score of life events scale was 22.20 6.86;All three are higher than the domestic norm.(3)The scores of SAS,SDS and LES in the four common syndromes of liver depression were significantly higher than those in other syndromes.(4)Logistic regression analysis showed that anxiety state of PCOS patients was related to body mass index, serum testosterone and LH/FSH ratio(P<0.05).Depression was associated with serum testosterone(P<0.05).(5)Logistic regression analysis showed that kidney deficiency syndrome was related to age, body mass index and serum testosterone(P<0.05).Liver depression syndrome was correlated with anxiety and depression scale score(P<0.05),and anxiety and depression(6)scale score was positively correlated with liver depression syndrome.Phlegm-dampness syndrome was related to body mass index and anxiety scale score(P<0.05).Blood stasis syndrome was associated with anxiety scale score and serum testosterone(P<0.05).Conclusion:(1)Kidney deficiency syndrome accounts for the largest proportion in the TCM dialectical classification of PCOS patients in this survey, followed by liver depression syndrome,phlegm-dampness syndrome and blood stasis syndrome. In the TCM dialectical classification of polycystic ovary syndrome,Multiple factors are involved in the pathogenesis of PCOS and affect the distribution of its TCM syndromes.(2)PCOS patients suffer more mental stress than normal people, and their incidence of anxiety and depression is high.(3)The body mass index, serum testosterone and LH/FSH ratio of PCOS patients were related to the occurrence of anxiety and depression. The mental health of patients should be paid attention to in clinical treatment.
