ObjectiveTo understand the status of physical activity in stoma patients with colorectal cancer, and to explore the related factors that can affect physical activity.we attempt to propose targeted interventions to improve the level of physical activity,Thereby promoting patients to return to society as soon as possible and provide scientific basis for clinical nursing management..MethodsThis study is a descriptive study where 210 patients with stoma were recruited from two tertiary hospital in Henan Province from February to December in 2018.The investigative tools include a self-designed general information questionnaire which includes socio-demographic and disease-related data, the International Physical Activity Questionnaire, the Ostomy Adjustment Inventory-20 and the Cancer Fatigue Scale.EpiData 3.1 software was used to establish the database, and SPSS 20.0 was used to make statistical analysis.mean, standard deviation, frequency, composition ratio are used to describe the data. The analysis includes analysis of variance,chi-square test and multi-classification logistic regression analysis. The test level of P<0.05 showed statistical significance.Results1.The status of the physical activity in colorectal cancer patients with stomaThe median of total energy consumption was 462MET-min-week-1.According to IPAQ physical activity classification standard,134 cases?63.8%?was divided into low physical activity,52 cases?24.8%?achieved medium physical activity and 24 cases?11.4%?achieved high physical activit,.According to ACSM's evaluation of moderate and high intensity physical activity in 2013,53 cases?25.2%?reached the recommended level and 157 cases?74.8%?did not reach the recommended level.2.The status of stoma adaptation and fatigue in colorectal cancer patients with stomaThe average score of stoma adaptation was?41.20±12.02?,which was at a moderate level.87 patients?41.4%?were at a low level of adaptation,109 patients?51.9%?were at a moderate level of adaptation, and 14 patients?6.7%?were at a high level of adaptation. The average score of stoma fatigue was?32.34±6.75?.Among them, the body dimension score was?17.23±4.27?,the emotional dimension score was?7.14±3.58?,and the cognitive dimension score was?6.97±3.18?.3.The univariate analysis of physical activity in colorectal cancer patients with stomaThe univariate analysis showed that there were significant differences in gender, educational level, whether on-the-job,type of stoma, regular exercise,post-operative time, fatigue and stoma adaptation among different levels of physical activity?P<0.05?.4.The logistic regression analysis of physical activity in colorectal cancer patients with stomaThe results of logistic regression analysis showed that gender, education level, type of stoma, regular exercise,post-operative time, fatigue and stoma adaptation were the influencing factors of physical activity in colorectal cancer patients with stoma.Conclusions1.The Colorectal cancer stoma patients are at a low level of physical activity, mainly in low-intensity physical activities and need to increase high-intensity physical activity to improve the level of physical activity.2.The physical activity of colorectal cancer patients with stoma is not up to the recommended standard of American Sports Medicine Guidelines.3.Gender,education level, regular exercise, type of stoma, time after operation, fatigue and stoma adaptation level are the main influencing factors of different levels of physical activity.
