ObjectiveTo understand the level of supportive care needs,self-care ability and quality of life of colorectal cancer patients with stoma,to analyze the correlation among the three, and further explore the influencing factors of supportive care needs of colorectal cancer patients with stoma.MethodsThis study is a cross-sectional study of descriptive studies. From June 2018 to January 2020,402 colorectal cancer patients with stoma were investigated in 3 Grade A Class Three hospitals in Gansu province. The General Information Questionnaire, the Quality of Life Questionnaire for People with Stoma, the Stoma Self-care Scale-early stage vision and the Supportive Care Needs Survey Questionnaire were used to measure the supportive care needs, quality of life and self-care ability of colorectal cancer patients with stoma,respectively.Results(1)A total of 415 questionnaires were issued in this study, and 402 valid questionnaires were recovered, with a recovery rate of 96.9%.(2)The score of "Degree of need" of supportive care needs of patients with stoma was 159.51±51.01.The score of "Degree of need for help" was 114.89±40.50.The average score of self-care ability of patients with stoma was 31.53±8.08.The average score of the quality of life of patients with stoma was 41.15±11.55.(3)"Degree of need" in colorectal cancer patients with stoma was negatively correlated with the quality of life."Degree of need for help" was negatively correlated with self-care ability and quality of life.(4)The influencing factors of "Degree of need" of patients with stoma include:gender, number of chemotherapy, monthly stoma nursing expenses, degree of specialist nurses' help, quality of life and postoperative time. The influencing factors of "Degree of need for help" of patients with stoma include: patient's degree of acceptance of stoma, degree of self-care stoma, number of chemotherapy, and postoperative time.Conclusion(1)Colorectal cancer patients with stoma have a strong need for supportive care, and their self-care ability and quality of life are not high,so they need the help of clinical medical workers.(2)The quality of life of patients can be improved to some extent by regulating the supportive care needs of patients with stoma.(3)There are many factors influencing the supportive care needs of patients with stoma, and there are significant differences in the supportive care needs of different groups with different characteristics. These factors should be taken into account before formulating a nursing plan for patients.First of all, clinical medical workers should fully consider the social attributes of patients, identify the needs of patients with different genders, help patients correctly understand and receive stoma, and provide patients with correct methods to deal with the side effects of chemotherapy.Secondly,at least 1 year of continuous care was provided to the patients with stoma discharged after the operation. Finally, the government should establish and improve community ostomy support institutions, improve the out-of-hospital management system and relevant medical insurance policies, and pay attention to and relieve the economic pressure of patients with stoma.
