Objective:On this study,by observing the changes of the scores of MS,SS and ADL scales in patients with spinal cord injury(SCI)treated by electro-acupuncture at Du meridian and Jiaji acupoint, compared with those treated by ordinary acupuncture, analyzed the efficacy of electro-acupuncture at Du meridian and Jiaji acupoint on SCI patients, and provided new ideas and methods for clinical treatment of sensory and motor dysfunction after SCI.Methods:Forty patients with SCI who met the inclusion criteria were numbered 1-40 in the order of inclusion, and random numbers were generated using the SPASS software. The randomized number between 1 and 20 entered the treatment group, and between 21 and 40 entered the control group.20 cases in each group. The treatment group was treated with acupuncture of Du meridian and Jiaji point, while the control group was treated with ordinary acupuncture. Both groups were treated with Electro-Acupuncture and rehabilitation training. The treatment group received 6 consecutive treatments a week, rest for 1 day,and then continued treatment for 12 weeks. The control group received 6 consecutive treatments a week, rest for 1 day,and then continued treatment for 12 weeks.Forty patients were assessed with MS,SS and ADL scales before and 12 weeks after treatment, analyze and compare the clinical efficacy of the two groups of patients after treatment.Results:(1)MS score:After 12 weeks of treatment in both groups, the MS scores of the SCI patients in the treatment group and the control group were significantly higher than those before treatment, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.01).After treatment, the MS score of the treatment group was significantly higher than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).(2)SS score:After 12 weeks of treatment in both groups, the SS scores of the SCI patients in the treatment group and the control group were significantly higher than those before treatment, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.01).After treatment, the SS score of the treatment group was significantly higher than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).(3)ADL assessment:After 12 weeks of treatment in both groups, the ADL scores of the SCI patients in the treatment group and the control group were significantly higher than those before treatment, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.01).After treatment, the ADL score of the treatment group was significantly higher than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusions:(1)Electro-acupuncture of Du meridian combined with Jiaji acupoint and ordinary acupuncture can improve sensory movement, motor function and daily living ability of patients with SCI,and the clinical effect is remarkable.(2)The group of Electro-acupuncture of Du meridian combined with Jiaji acupoint was superior to the ordinary acupuncture group in improving the sensory function, motor function and daily living ability of patients after SCI.
