ObjectiveTo observe the clinical efficacy and safety of allergen blocker in the treatment of allergic rhinitis with mometasone furoate nasal spray combined with nasal irrigation.MethodsA total of 110 patients with allergic rhinitis who were diagnosed and treated in our hospital from September 2016 to May 2017 were randomly divided into the control group and the observation group, with 55 cases in each group.Nasal lavage was performed in both groups. After washing, the control group was treated with mometasone furoate nasal spray. The observation group was treated with allergen blocker on the basis of the control group. The patient's scores were recorded by visual symptom simulation scale and specialist examination. And statistical analysis was used to compare the clinical efficacy of the two groups of patients before and after treatment and the adverse reactions during the treatment.ResultsAll patients complained of poor nasal ventilation, excessive clearing, frequent sneezing and nasal itching, and were more obvious in the morning. After the specialist examination, the nasal mucosa was mostly pale and had obvious mucosa.Edema condition. After the treatment(medication for 28 days):(1)The clinical symptoms and quality of life scores of the two groups were lower than those before treatment;the patients in the observation group had nasal itching(t=2.512,P < 0.05)and nasal congestion(t=2.178,P < 0.05),sneezing(t=2.790,P<0.01),clear water sputum(t=4.195,P<0.01)and quality of life(t=3.462,P<0.01)were significantly lower than the control group.(2)The total effective rate of the control group was 72.7%(40/55),of which the effective rate was 25.5%(14/55),the effective rate was 47.2%(26/55),and the inefficiency was 27.3%.(15/55);the total effective rate of the observation group was 89.0%,including 34.5%(19/55),54.5%(30/55),and 11.0%(6/55).There was a statistically significant difference between the two groups(?~2=4.767,P<0.05).(3)The objective objective sign scores of the two groups were lower than those before treatment.Statistical analysis showed significant statistical differences between the two groups(t=3.679,P<0.05).(4)During the treatment, the incidence of adverse reactions in the control group was 10.9%(6/55),the incidence of adverse reactions in the observation group was 3.6%(2/55),all of which were mild,no serious adverse reactions occurred, and statistical analysis was performed. There was no statistically significant difference between the two groups(?~2=1.213,P>0.05).ConclutionAllergen blocker combined with mometasone furoate nasal spray and nasal irrigation can effectively improve the clinical symptoms of patients with allergic rhinitis, reduce allergic symptoms of nasal mucosa, improve the quality of life of patients,no obvious serious adverse reactions.
