Clinical Study Of Acupoint Catgut Embedding Combined With Moxibustion In The Treatment Of Simple Obesity Of Gastric Heat-dampness Resistance

Objective:By observing the changes of obesity-related indexes and syndrome scores of gastric heat-dampness resistance type simple obesity patients before and after treatment,and comparing the clinical efficacy of acupoint catgut embedding combined with moxibustion and conventional acupoint catgut embedding therapy,the aim is to provide more treatment methods and ideas for the treatment of gastric heat-dampness resistance type simple obesity by Acupuncture and moxibustion,and to provide relevant clinical basis for the theory of "heat syndrome can be moxibusted" ?Method:According to the unified criteria of diagnosis,inclusion and exclusion,64 cases of pure obesity with stomach heat and dampness resistance were included in the study.They were randomly divided into acupoint catgut embedding combined with box moxibustiongroup and routine acupoint catgut embedding group,32 cases in each group.Acupoint catgut embedding combined with box moxibustion group was treated by acupoint catgut embedding combined with box moxibustion.Obesity-related data were recorded before and after treatment(waist circumference,hip circumference,body weight,body mass index,body fat percentage,the scores of stomach heat-dampness obstruction syndrome,InBody score).Finally,statistical software was used to analyze the above data and evaluate the clinical effect of acupoint catgut embedding combined with,moxibustion on simple obesity with stomach heat-dampness resistance.Result:1.Case loss: During the treatment period,there were 2 cases in the treatment group and 2 cases in the routine acupoint catgut embedding group due to various reasons.There were 60 cases in the final treatment and statistics,30 cases in the acupoint catgut embedding combined with box moxibustion group and 30 cases in the routine acupoint catgut embedding group.2.Comparison of obesity-related indicators between the two groups before and after treatment2.1 Comparison of waist circumference,hip circumference,body weight,body mass index and body fat rate between the two groups before and after treatmentIntra-group comparison: After treatment,the waist circumference,hip circumference,body weight,body mass index andbody fat rate of the two groups were significantly decreased compared with those before treatment,and the difference was statistically significant(all P < 0.05).Inter-group comparison: After treatment,the reduction of waist circumference,body weight,body mass index and body fat rate in acupoint catgut embedding combined with box moxibustion group was more significant than that in routine acupoint catgut embedding group(P < 0.05).There was no significant difference in hip circumference between the two groups(P > 0.05).2.2 Comparison of the scores of stomach heat-dampness obstruction syndrome between the two groups before and after treatmentIntra-group comparison: After treatment,the scores of stomach heat and dampness resistance syndrome in the two groups were significantly decreased compared with before treatment,and the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05).Intergroup comparison: After treatment,the scores of stomach heat-dampness obstruction syndrome of acupoint catgut embedding combined with box moxibustion group was significantly lower than that of routine acupoint catgut embedding group(P < 0.05).2.3 Comparison of InBody scores before and after treatment between the two groupsIntra-group comparison:After treatment,the InBody scores of the two groups after the treatment were obviously higher than before treatment,and there were significant differences before and aftertreatment(P<0.05).Intergroup comparison: After treatment,the InBody score of the acupoint catgut embedding combined with box moxibustion group was clearly higher than that of the routine acupoint catgut embedding group after treatment.The difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).3.Comparison of therapeutic effects before and after treatment: The total effective rate of the acupoint catgut embedding combined with box moxibustion group after treatment was86.67%,and the total effective rate of the routine acupoint catgut embedding group was 73.33%.The results indicated that the total effective percentage of the acupoint catgut embedding combined with box moxibustion group was higher than that of the routine acupoint catgut embedding group obviously,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).4.Safety evaluation results:All the effective cases included in this study had normal safety indicators such as related signs and examination results before and after treatment,and no major adverse events occurred during the clinical trial.This study strictly follows the correct operation method and strict test procedure.During the treatment period,no adverse events such as fainting needle,staying needle,infection,suppuration and hematoma occurred.Only 2 cases of mild subcutaneous hemorrhage and local bruising occurred in the acupoint catgut embedding combined with box moxibustion group,which belonged to the normal phenomenonin the treatment.After routine treatment,bruising was absorbed within one week.No adverse events such as vomiting,palpitation and nausea occurred.It has better security.Conclusion:Compared with conventional acupoint catgut embedding therapy,acupoint catgut embedding combined with moxibustion can improve waist circumference,body weight,BMI,body fat rate,symptoms of stomach heat-dampness resistance and InBody score of simple obesity patients with stomach heat-dampness resistance,and has better clinical effect.This method provides a clinical basis for the theory of "heat syndrome can be moxibusted",and provides a new treatment method and thinking for the clinical treatment of simple obesity with stomach heat-dampness resistance.
