Clinical Observation Of Catgut Embedding At Acupoints In The Treatment Of Simple Obesity Of Gastric Heat Stagnation And Spleen Stagnation

Objective:Observing the clinical therapeutic effect of acupoint embedding treatment for g astric heat stagnation simple obesity is compared with conventional acupuncture treat ment,which provides a basis for clinical treatment.Methods:Sixty patients were enrolled and divided into two groups by random number tab le method,30 cases each,the experimental group was acupoint embedding;the contr ol group was treated with conventional acupuncture.The curative index of the two g roups of patients were recorded before and after treatment,and then compared and a nalyzed.Results:1.There were no significant differences in gender,age,and duration of disease between the two groups,which were comparable,P>0.05.2.The changes of BMI between the two groups before and after treatment: the BMI of the two groups were lower than that before treatment,and the difference wa s statistically significant(P<0.05).Compared with the conventional acupuncture group,the BMI of the acupoint embedding group was significantly higher(P<0.05).3.The changes of body weight between the two groups before and after treatmen t: the body weight of the two groups were lower than that before treatment,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Compared with the conventional acu puncture group,the weight loss of the acupoint embedding group was more significa nt(P<0.05).4.Comparison of hip circumference changes between the two groups before and after treatment: the hip circumference of the two groups was lower than that before treatment,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Compared with th e comparison between groups,the hip circumference decreased in the conventional a cupuncture group.The acupoint embedding group was more significant(P<0.05).5.The changes of waist circumference before and after treatment in the two grou ps were compared: the waist circumference of the two groups was significantly lowe r than that before treatment,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).There was a statistically significant difference in waist circumference between the t wo groups after treatment(P<0.05),and the waist circumference of the acupoint em bedding group was more significant.6.The changes of fat percentage before and after treatment in the two groups w ere compared: the fat percentage of the two groups was significantly lower than that before treatment,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).There wa s a difference in the fat rate between the two groups after treatment.Statistical signi ficance(P<0.05),the fat percentage of the acupoint embedding group decreased mor e significantly.7.The scores of TCM symptom scores before and after treatment in the two gro ups: the scores of spleen symptoms in the two groups were lower than those before treatment,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).There was a stati stically significant difference in the scores of spleen symptoms after treatment(P<0.05).The scores of spleen symptoms in the acupoint embedding group were more ob vious than those in the conventional acupuncture group.Conclusion:Acupoint embedding treatment is effective in treating gastric stagnation and sp leen-type simple obesity.It can improve the obesity index and TCM symptom scores of patients,and it can be used in terms of therapeutic efficacy,time spent,expendi ture and safety.It is well affirmed,but the sample size of this study is small,and t here is a lack of large sample test,which needs further clinical research.
