A Study On Effect Of Using Wechat Platform To Assist Health Education For Home-based Mild-to-moderate Disabled Elderly

Objective: To learn the care needs of the disabled home elderly,explore ntion effects of health education on the care needs,functional independence,the intervention effects of health education on the care needs,functional independence,quality of life,compliance of rehabilitation exercise and nursing satisfaction of the disabled elderly through Wechat public platform,so as to provide basis for the effective implementation of health education for the disabled elderly at home and the improvement of the quality of life of the disabled elderly at home.Methods: From October 2016 to December 2018,140 elderly people with mild to moderate disability at home in urban and suburban areas of Guiyang City were selected for questionnaire survey and intervention.(1)The questionnaire for the elderly with mild to moderate disability at home includes general information,care needs questionnaire,functional independence rating scale,health questionnaire,lifestyle compliance questionnaire and satisfaction score.(2)140 subjects were divided into intervention group(70persons)and control group(70 persons)according to the degree of disability.In the control group,community nurses routinely carried out door-to-door vital signs measurement,health education and disease rehabilitation guidance.On the basis of routine community family visits,the intervention group was guided by Wechat public number "Friends of the Elderly at Home" and "Rehabilitation Nursing Home" Wechat for 3 months.Before intervention,1 month and 3 months after intervention,the grip strength of the intervention group and the control group were measured by electronic grip meter;before intervention and 3 months after intervention,the care needs questionnaire and function were used respectively.Independence Scale,Quality of Life Score,Life Style Compliance Scale and Satisfaction Score were used to investigate the demand for care,functional independence of limbs,quality of life and satisfaction with home care in the two groups.(3)Using SPSS24.0 statistical software to establish a database and conduct statistical analysis.Quantitative data are described by ąs,while qualitative data are described by rate or percentage.c2test andindependent sample t test were used to compare the results between groups or within groups.a=0.05.Results:(1)The results showed that the top guidance for the care needs of the home elderly with mild to moderate disability were mobile and toilet(68.57%),falling prevention(67.86%),falling bed prevention(65.71%)and limb function training(64.29%).(2)At 3 months after intervention,the scores of physiological and safety needs in the intervention group were lower than those in the control group(P < 0.05).The scores of compliance in the intervention group were higher than those in the control group(P < 0.05).There was no significant difference between the intervention group and the control group(P > 0.05).The scores of independence of motor function and satisfaction of home nursing in intervention group were higher than those in control group(P < 0.05).There was no significant difference in the scores of quality of life except physiological function P >0.05),andthere was no significant difference in grip strength between intervention group and control group(P >0.05).Conclusion:(1)Health education based on Wechat public platform can reduce the care needs of the home elderly with mild to moderate disability,and meet the safety and physiological health guidance needs of the home elderly with mild to moderate disability.(2)Health education based on Wechat public platform can improve the independence of motor function,satisfaction of home care and the compliance of balanced diet,rehabilitation exercise,regular medication and regular review of home elderly people with mild to moderate disability.(3)Health education based on Wechat public platform can not significantly improve the quality of life and grip strength of the home elderly with mild to moderate disability.
