Objection: By reviewing the clinical data of ventriculoperitoneal shunt under neuronavigation-assisted laparoscopy and traditional surgery, the advantages of neuronavigation-assisted ventriculoperitoneal shunt in the treatment of hydrocephalus were analyzed,so as to provide reference for future clinical treatment. Methods: The Clinical data of 71 patients with hydrocephalus who underwent ventriculoperitoneal shunt surgery in our group from January 2017 to January 2019 were retrospectively analyzed. The experimental group received ventriculoperitoneal shunt surgery assisted by neuronavigation and laparoscopy, while the traditional group received conventional ventriculoperitoneal shunt surgery.General clinical data of the patients in the two groups, the number of successful ventricular puncture at the time of surgery, the accuracy of ventricular catheterization(kakarl grade),complications, postoperative improvement(postoperative BI score-preoperative BI score),hospitalization expenses and hospitalization days were statistically analyzed using SPSS18.0 software.Results:1.The number of successful puncturing of the ventricle in the experimental group was 1.00±0.00,and the required number in the traditional group was 1.24±0.52,P=0.032.The difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P < 0.05).2.Accuracy assessment of ventricular terminal(kakarl grade). The experimental group was 100%(22/22)in the first grade,83.7%(41/49)in the first grade in the traditional group;14.3%(7/49)in the second grade;2%(1/49)in the third grade.P=0.046,the difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P < 0.05).The complication rate was 18.2%(4/22)in the experimental group,32.7%(16/49)in the traditional group, and P=0.210.The difference between the two groups was not statistically significant.4.The improvement of postoperative ability of the two groups(postoperative BI score-preoperative BI score),the experimental group was 21.1 ± 12.8,the traditional group was 15.6 ± 11.3,P = 0.073,the difference between the two groups did not statistical significance.5.The average hospitalization days and hospitalization expenses in the experimental group were 13.7±1.8 and 5.6±1.8,respectively,and the traditional group was 14.6±5.2 and 5.8±2.0,respectively.P was greater than 0.5.The difference between the two groups was not statistically significant. Conclusion:The ventricular puncture assisted by neuronavigation is less damaging and more accurate. The application of neuronavigation-assisted ventriculoperitoneal shunt can reduce the incidence of postoperative complications in patients, and is beneficial to the improvement of postoperative life ability of patients, but the difference between the two groups is not statistically significant, which may be related to the number of samples and patient follow-up time, which needs further study.Compared with the conventional group, the application of neuronavigation combined with laparoscopic surgery did not increase the average hospitalization expenses.
