Analysis Of Disease Spectrum In Oral And Maxillofacial Surgery In Yijishan Hospital

Background and objective: The disease spectrum usually refers to the order of disease according to the prevalence rate,which can reflect the incidence of various diseases and the disease composition of a certain period of time and population in a specific area.At present,there is no report on the disease spectrum of patients with oral and maxillofacial disease in Wuhu.Retrospective analysis of hospitalized patients with oral and maxillofacial disease from Yijishan Hospital affiliated to Wannan Medical College between January 1,2014 and December 31,2018.To explore the disease composition of hospitalized patients in oral and maxillofacial surgery,wish it could helping the prevention and treatment of various diseases.Methods: All cases of statistical age,gender,clinical symptoms,lesions,endoscopic morphology,surgical methods,pathological types.The pathological features were further analyzed including the depth of invasion,TNM stage,tumor size,histological type,degree of differentiation,ulceration,vascular tumor thrombus and nerve infiltration,and lymph node metastasis.Results: To collected the medical records of 8128 patients in the oral and Maxillofacial Surgery of Yanjishan Hospital between January 1,2014 and December 31,2018.Classification and statistics according to oral and maxillofacial surgery.Conclusion:The main disease in hospital for oral and maxillofacial surgery is oral and maxillofacial infection,oral and maxillofacial injury,Salivary gland disease,maxillofacial tumor,dental disease.The top ten diseases are oral and maxillofacial injury,jaw cyst,pleomorphic adenoma,impeding teeth,sublingual cyst,vascular tumor,maxillofacial infection,warthin tumor,mumps,sialolithiasis.The composition ratio of patients with maxillofacial injuries is decreasing,and traffic accidents have always been the main cause of illness.The disease spectrum of oral and maxillofacial surgery in Wuhu City has its own characteristics.we should Targeted disease prevention,diagnosis and treatment based on local characteristics.
