Clinical Observation Of Huaier Granule Combined With SOX Chemotherapy On Gastric Cancer Post Operation

Objective:To observe the clinical efficacy of Huaier Granule combined with SOX chemotherapy regimen on the treatment of patients with gastric cancer after radical operation,and to provide a basis for clinical application of this method on the patients with of gastric cancer after operation.Methods:Fifty-nine volunteers who met the research criteria were divided into SOX group,Huaier granule group and SOX+Huaier granule group according to random number table method.There were 20 cases,20 cases and 19 cases,in the three group respectively.Huaier granule group:oral Huaier granule for 21 days;SOX chemotherapeutic drug group:Sergio capsule for 14 consecutive days and drug withdrawal for 7 days.Oxaliplatin injection was administered once as the dosage of 130mg/m~2on the first day of treatment;Huaier granule combined with SOX chemotherapeutic drug group:Huaier granule was orally administered for 21 days and Sergio capsule was orally administered for 14 consecutive days and discontinued for 7 days.Oxaliplatin injection was administered once as the dosage of 130mg/m~2 on the first day of treatment.All of them were treated for 3 weeks as a couse of treatment.The levels of serum tumor markers CEA,AFP,CA199,quality of life table(EORTC QLQ-C30),acute and subacute clinical manifestations and grading of anticancer drugs(WHO),physical condition(Karnofsky),human vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF)were observed and compared among the three groups.Results:1.The levels of serum tumor markers CEA,AFP,CA-199 and vascular endothelial growth factor in SOX+Huaier Granule group decreased significantly after 5courses of treatment(P<0.05),and had certain therapeutic effect.2.Quality of Life Scale(EORTC QLQ-C30).On terms of the functions:After three courses of treatment,there were statistical differences in somatic function,role function,social function and total health status among the three groups(P<0.05).SOX+Huaier granule group was superior to SOX group in terms of social function and total health status(P<0.05);after 5 courses of treatment,SOX+Huaier granule group was superior to SOX group in terms of total health status(P<0.05).Comparison among groups,in terms of physical function,the five courses of SOX+Huaier Granule group were better than the three courses,with statistical significance(P<0.05),and the five courses of SOX+Huaier Granule group were better than the one month after operation in terms of role function and overall health status(P<0.05).Symptoms:After three courses of treatment,the number of nausea and vomiting reactions in SOX group was less than that in Huaier granule group(P<0.05),and the number of constipation reactions in SOX+Huaier granule group was less than that in SOX group(P<0.05).After 5 courses of treatment,SOX+Huaier Granule group had fewer cases of fatigue,insomnia,constipation and diarrhea than SOX group(P<0.05).Comparison among groups,in terms of fatigue and insomnia,the five courses of treatment in SOX+Huaier Granule group were better than that in one month after operation(P<0.05).In terms of nausea and vomiting,the number of symptoms in Huaier Granule group after 3 courses of treatment was significantly higher than that in one month after operation(P<0.05).3.On the adverse reactions of anti-cancer drugs in(WHO):After 5 courses of treatment,the number of cases of SOX+Huaier granule group in leukocyte,oral mucositis and peripheral nerve was significantly less than that of SOX group,with statistical significance difference(P<0.05).In Karnofsky functional score,the three groups after treatment were better than before treatment,with significant difference(P<0.01).Conclusion:SOX+Huaier Granule can significantly reduce the relevant tumor indicators and the value of vascular endothelial growth factor in the treatment of advanced gastric cancer patients undergoing radical gastrectomy.It can inhibit the occurrence and development of gastric cancer in a certain period of time.It can improve the physical function,role function,social function,overall health status,fatigue,insomnia,constipation and diarrhea of patients.It is better than SOX alone.It can effectively reduce the incidence of adverse reactions,especially in leukocytes,oral mucosa and peripheral nerves.It is safe and feasible.SOX+Huaier Granule can significantly improve Karnofsky functional score of patients,indicating that the combined program can significantly improve the physical condition of patients,and has a certain promotion value.
