Objective To explore the correlation between ventricular arrhythmia and heart rate variability in coronary heart disease. Methods According to the strict inclusion criteria and exclusion criteria, all patients hospitalized in the cardiovascular medicine of the First Hospital of Jiaxing City from October 2015 to October 2017 were collected.According to the diagnostic criteria, the patients were divided into the following four groups: CHD with ventricular arrhythmia group(Group A),CHD without ventricular arrhythmia group(Group B),NON-CHD with ventricular arrhythmia group(Group C),NON-CHD without ventricular arrhythmia group(Group D),125 cases were randomly selected from each group as the research object,a total of 500 cases were studied. The results of 24-hour Holter were retrospectively collected. All types of arrhythmias were identified by human-computer dialogue, and artifacts were eliminated. The normal sinus R-R interval was calculated automatically by computer, and the standard deviation of R-R(N-N)interval(SDNN),mean standard deviation of sinus R-R(N-N)every 5minutes(SDANN),root mean square of successive differences(RMSSD)and percentage of differences exceeding 50 ms between adjacent normal number of intervals(PNN50)of all sinus R-R(N-N)intervals of HRV were calculated.HRV of each group was analyzed and compared. Results HRV in group A and B decreased significantly compared with group D(P <0.05);HRV in group A decreased further than that in group B,but there was no statistical significance;SDANN in group C decreased significantly compared with group D(P < 0.05),while SDNN,RMSSD,PNN50 did not differ significantly from that in group D;HRV in group A decreased significantly compared with group C(P<0.05);compared with group C,HRV in group B decreased significantly(P< 0.05).Conclusions Preliminary results showed that there was a significant correlation between ventricular arrhythmia and HRV in coronary heart disease. The decrease of HRV time domain indices(SDANN,SDNN,RMSSD,PNN50)may be a good predictor of ventricular arrhythmia in coronary heart disease. The exact conclusion needs to be confirmed by larger-scale studies.
