| Objective1.The aim of this study was to investigate characteristics of Chinese medicine(CM)syndromes in patient with Gout.2.The aim of this study was to evaluate the clinical efficacy and safety of QiFu HuaZhuo in patient with Gout.Methods1.Clinical data of 177 patients with gout admitted to Guangdong Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from February 2012 to January 2017 were retrospectively analyzed.The texture of tongue,coating on the tongue,pulse in patients were analyzed.2.This was a clinical contrast trial.In this trial,39 patients with Gout with the Turbidity Syndrome of TCM Syndrome were included.They were from Guangdong Provincial Hospital of Chinese Medicine for April 2018 to January 2019.They were divided into TCM and Western medicine groups.The experimental group was treated with QiFu HuaZhuo Decoction and the control group was treated with benzbromarone.Through 12-week observation,UA,Cr,Urea,eGFR,the accident of acute gout and adverse events were used to evaluate the clinical efficacy and safety of the QiFu HuaZhuo Decoction.SPSS17.0 statistical software package was used to establish the database and the data were analyzed using t test,rank sum test,chi-square test and Repeated ANOVA.Results1.The textures of tongue the former three were dark red tongue[39.56%(70/177)],light dark tongue[32.77%(58/177)]and lighet red tongue[18.08%(32/177)].The coatings on the tongue of the former three were the coating of yellow greasy[35.59%(63/177)],the coating of white greasy[24.29%(43/177)]and the coating of thin white[12.43%(22/177)].The slippery string pulse was champion in all type of pulse[31.64%(56/177)].2.A total of 39 patients were enrolled in this trial.There were 20 cases in the experimental group and 19 cases in the control group.Age,medical history,frequency of seizure,body mass index,UA,Cr and other clinical observation indexes were no significant differences between the two groups at baseline(P>0.05).Up to now,36 patients completed the treatment of 6 weeks,17 cases in the treatment group and 19 cases in the control group.In our study,these clinical observation indexes except urea of two groups were improved after treatment than those before.After 2 weeks,there were no significant differences in Cr,Urea(P>0.05),but there were significant differences in uric acid and eGFR(P<0.05).Urea were no significant differences after 6 weeks between the two groups(P>0.05).However,the improvement of Cr and eGFR in the experimental group were better than the control group and the improvement of UA in the control group were better than the experimental group(P<0.05).After 12 weeks of treatment,there were no significant differences in Urea and UA(P>0.05),but the improvement of Cr and eGFR in the experimental group were better than the control group(P<0.05).There are no significant differences in reducing the accident of acute gout between two groups.There are 3 cases adverse events in the experimental group and 12 cases adverse events in the control group during the treatment,which is significant differences between the two groups(P<0.05).Conclusion1.Phlegm-stasis is one of the basic pathogenesis factors.2.The experimental regimen,which has higher safety than the control regimen,can reduce blood uric acid and Cr and improve eGFR.Although the effect lowering uric acid of QiFu HuaZhuo Decoction was weaken than that of western medicine,the difference between two regimens was gradually narrowed and QiFu HuaZhuo Decoction strengthened the filtration ability of the kidney. |
