Background and objective:Music therapy,as a new,non-invasive and acceptable treatment,is often used in some patients with emotional disorders.A number of studies have shown that music therapy can have beneficial effects on anxiety, pain, fatigue and quality of life of cancer patients, and can alleviate the negative psychological effects of anxiety and depression of cancer patients. The purpose of this study was to observe the psychological and physiological changes of patients undergoing lung cancer surgery with music therapy, and to understand the psychological and physiological changes of these special patients with the help of music therapy. And further improve the specific implementation of music therapy. Methods:Forty patients undergoing elective lung cancer surgery were randomly divided into two groups(n = 20): music treatment group(group M)and control group(group C).M patients were implanted with active resources 20 minutes before music therapy),and the patients were divided into two groups(n = 20): music treatment group(group M)and control group(group C).After half an hour of anesthetic recovery, music wake-up training was given for 30 minutes, music relaxation training for 20 minutes after six hours, and music breathing training and musical rhythm training for patients within 48 hours after operation(about 10 min twice a day). After 72 hours of music therapy, active resource implantation into 20 min.Group C was performed without any music therapy at the same time. The scores of self-rating anxiety scale(SAS),self-rating Depression scale(SDS),Visual analogue score(VAS)and systolic blood pressure(SBP)were recorded before and 72 hours after operation.Diastolic blood pressure(DBP)and heart rate(HR)changes. The performance of patients in m group during music therapy and the evaluation after music therapy were recorded. Results:Compared with group C,the SAS scores in group M(47.2 ±8.2,p < 0.045),were significantly lower than those in group C(p< 0.05),and the SAS scores at 24 hours after operation were(43.2 ±9.0,p< 0.034),and the scores of SAS in group M were significantly lower than those in group C(p < 0.05).The VAS score(2.62 ±0.9,p < 0.041)was significantly lower than that of the group C(p < 0.05).All the patients thought that this was a meaningful music experience. Most patients(18/20,90%)believe that music therapy has a positive effect on their own condition, and half of the patients(9/20,45%)believe that the music treatment experience reached a peak. Conclusion:Music therapy can reduce the perioperative pain score of patients with lung cancer surgery, and music therapy can reduce the perioperative anxiety scale score of patients with lung cancer surgery.
