Study On The Status Of The Integration Of Health Care And Elderly Care Services In Fujian Province

Objective:Based on the theory of health care integration,systematically summarize and analyse the measures,effects,problems and challenges of theintegration of health care and elderly care services in Fujian Province,conclude the practical experience and lessons of Fujian Province,and puts forward pertinent suggestions for further promoting the Integration of Health Care and Elderly Care Services in Fujian Province.Contents:The first is to understand the background of the integration of health care and elderly care services in Fujian Province.The second is to analyze the current situation of the integration of health care and elderly care services in Fujian Province from four aspects:system integration,organizational integration,professional integration and service integration.The third is to put forward suggestions to promote the integration of health care and elderly care services.Method:literature review is used to analyze thetheories and researches of theintegration of health care and elderly care services.Investigate 7 medical or old-age care institutions in Quanzhou,Zhangzhou and Longyan of Fujian Province to collect related meterials,mainly by personal interviews and group interviews.Based on the selected localized rainbow model in China as the analysis framework,summarizes and analyses the current situation of the integration of health care and elderly care services in Fujian Province from four aspects:system integration,organizational integration,professional integration and service integration.Outcome:1.Background of the Integration of Health Care and Elderly Care Services in Fujian ProvinceThe degree of population aging in Fujian Province is slightly lower than the national average.Although the resources of elderly care services and health care services have been increasing,they are still lower than the national average.2.The Status of the Integration of Health Care and Elderly Care Services in Fujian ProvinceFujian Province has carried out many practical explorations on the system,organization,specialty and service levels of the integration of health care and old-age care services,but there are also many problems and challenges.At the institutional level,the integration of health care and pension services in Fujian Province has been explored comprehensively in policy planning,but the implementation of the policy needs to be further improved.Organizational research institutes have been successful in integrating health care and old-age care services,and their experience needs to be rationally promoted throughout the province.The development of professional integration is chaotic and needs to be clarified and unified urgently.Some explorations have been carried out at the service level,but the number of services carried out is relatively small,and the form needs to be standardized.Conclusion:Establishing inter-departmental decision-making leadership mechanism can eliminate obstacles in system integration;the characteristics of health care resources of institutions themselves are the basis for choosing organizational integration measures;improving the professionalism of health care personnel is conducive to the development of professional integration;identifying the needs of health care services for the elderly is the key to service integration;and trying to put forward a way to explore the integration of health care and old-age services:1.In the assessment and analysis of the needs of the elderly population for medical and nursing integration,the elderly population with specific needs for medical and nursing services is selected,and the service integration is designed according to the characteristics of their needs based on the existing medical and nursing services.Secondly,the requirements of medical and nursing professionals and organizations are analyzed,and the medical and nursing institutions with appropriate resources are selected to carry out professional integration and organizational integration.Third,based on the requirements of service integration,professional integration and organizational integration measures,and comparing the existing management mechanism and policy norms of health and pension services,we can supplement and reconcile the system deficiencies and conflicts in the implementation of integration measures to ensure that integration at all levels can be carried out in a regular and orderly manner.Suggestion:Based on the results of this study,the following suggestions are put forward:to establish inter-departmental leadership decision-making mechanism and improve the supporting system;to clarify the service objects based on their own resources and carry out inter-organizational integration;to improve the professional level of health care service personnel and promote inter-professional collaboration;to carry out the needs assessment of health care services for the elderly,and to provide integrated services for different groups of people.
