Objectives The relationship between(SNP)of leptin receptor gene Gln223 Arg,Pro1019Pro polymorphism and(HTN)in type 2 diabetes mellitus(T2DM)complicated with hypertension was investigated in a clinical case-control study.It provides a new direction for the diagnosis and treatment of T2 DM patients with HTN.Methods A case-control study was conducted on 310 patients with T2 DM diagnosed by WHO diagnostic criteria in the affiliated Hospital of North China University of Technology.The patients were divided into two groups: NHTN group(n = 150)and HTN group(n = 160).The allele frequency and genotype distribution of Gln223 Arg and Pro1019 Pro were detected by polymerase chain reaction(PCR).To investigate the correlation between HTN and Gln223 Arg genotype and Pro1019 Pro genotype in patients with T2 DM,and to measure biochemical indexes such as hba1 c,blood lipid and monitor blood pressure.Multivariate logistic regression was used to analyze the related factors of HTN in T2 DM patients.Results 1 There was no significant difference in age,sex and LDL-C,TG,TC level of BMI,between the two groups(P>0.05).DM combined with HTN group and NHTN group in smoking,coronary heart disease(CHD).(2)the genotype and allele A of G1n223 Arg in T2DM with HTN group was significantly higher than that in NHTN group(28.7%,16.7%,50.6% and 38.3%,respectively,P < 0.05).3The distribution frequency of A allele was 50.6% and 38.3% in HTN group and NHTN group,respectively.(3)AA,at Pro1019 Pro locus was higher than NHTN group(31.3%,16.7%).The frequencies of GA and GG genotypes were 16.3%,43.8%,40.0% and 15.3%,50.7%,34%,40.7%,40.7%and 40.7% in HTN and NHTN,respectively.59.3% and 38.1%,61.9%,there was no significant difference between the two groups(P> 0.05).4Multivariate logistic regression analysis: the AA type of G1n223 Arg gene is risk factor of T2 DM complicated with HTN(P< 0.05).Conclusions (1)Gln223Arg locus a of LEPR gene was a susceptible genotype of HTN in t2 dm patients,2 Pro1019 Pro site of LEPR gene was not associated with HTN in T2 DM patients,and Pro1019 Pro locus of LEPR gene was not associated with HTN in T2 DM patients.Figure 2;Table 9;Reference 147...
