| Objective:To investigate the changes of six kinds of Th1/Th2 cytokines in serum of patients with gestational diabetes mellitus, and to compare the differences of these six kinds of cytokines between patients with gestational diabetes mellitus and those normal pregnancy women.By comparing the relationship between Th1 and Th2 cytokines in each group was compared, and the ratio of Th1 cytokines to Th2 cytokines between the two groups was finally compared.Methods:Seventy-two pregnant women with gestational diabetes who underwent prenatal examination in Woman Health Center Of Shanxi from December 1,2018 to December31,2018 and 70 healthy pregnant women who underwent prenatal examination in our hospital at the same time were collected. After being included in the exclusion criteria,42 pregnant women with gestational diabetes were selected as the case group and 37 healthy pregnant women as the healthy control group. The contents of six Th1/Th2 cytokines in the serum of pregnant women in the two groups were determined by flow cytometry, and the contents of six cytokines in the serum of pregnant women in the two groups were compared. Results:The serum levels of TNF-α and IL-4 in patients with gestational diabetes mellituswere higher than those in healthy control group(P < 0.05),with statistical significance;the serum levels of IFN-γ,IL-2,IL-6 and IL-10 in patients with gestational diabetes mellitus were lower than those in healthy control group(P > 0.05),but there was no significant difference between patients with gestational diabetes mellitus and healthy control group(P > 0.05).The comparison of Th1/Th2 cytokines between the two groups showed that there were significant differences in the ratio of IL2/IL 4,TNF-a/IL-4,TNF-a/IL-10 and IFN-Y/IL-4(P < 0.05),but there were no significant differences in IL-2/IL-6,IL-2/IL-10,TNF-α/IL-6,IFN-γ/IL-6 and IFN-γ/IL-6(P > 0.05).Conclusion:Inflammatory factors play an important role in insulin resistance in patients with gestational diabetes. In this study, the serum levels of TNF-α,IFN-γ,IL-2,IL-4,IL-6and IL-10 in GDM pregnant women and healthy pregnant women were compared. The results showed that the levels of TNF-α in the case group were higher than those in the healthy control group, while the levels of IL-4 were lower than those in the healthy control group, suggesting that the serum levels of TNF-α and il-4 were involved in the occurrence of gestational diabetes insulin resistance. The serum levels of IFN-γ,IL-2,IL-6 and IL-10 in the case group were also different from those in the healthy control group, but not significant.Meanwhile, the ratio of Th1 cytokines and Th2 cytokines between the two groups was statistically significant. |
