Objective: This study aimed to explore the overall prevalence of coronary artery disease with renal artery stenosis obtained in Chinese and foreign clinical studies so far and investigate the differences.Method:All the literatures which are associated with coronary heart disease and renal artery stenosis and published before December 30,2018 was obtained from the relevant databases. The qualified literatures were extracted according to the inclusion criteria of systematic evaluation, and the R software 3.3.3 was applied to preform Meta-analysis on the related data.In addition, subgroup analysis was preformed according to human race on the included studies. That followed, the statistical comparison of clinical subjects and research methodology were applied to explore the causes of heterogeneity, and try to find possible heterogeneity sources of subgroups through sensitivity analysis. Finally, fixed or random models were selected with regards to the heterogeneity test results to merging data and evaluating the publication bias. Results:The literatures included in this paper are cross-sectional studies, and 20 Chinese articles and 24 English articles were selected.Meta-analysis results: The overall prevalence of renal artery disease with renal artery stenosis was estimated by R software to be 18.63% [95% CI,0.1574;0.2169],heterogeneity was 95.8%;to explore the source of heterogeneity, ethnicity Subgroups were divided into Meta-regression(P>0.05),indicating that race is not a heterogeneous source.Because the Chinese population in this literature accounts for a large proportion of the population, and other Asian countries have fewer inclusions, through the regression of Chinese and foreign populations(P <0.05),it is found that there is significant difference in the prevalence rate at home and abroad.Significant.Meta-analysis of data on coronary artery disease with renal artery stenosis in the Mongolian subgroup of Chinese population and sensitivity analysis to find heterogeneous sources, the results showed that the prevalence rate was 21.48% [95% CI,0.2008;0.2290],and The heterogeneity is 0.Because the heterogeneity of the Caucasian subgroup was 97.3% and the heterogeneous source could not be found, the incidence of coronary artery disease with renal artery stenosis in the Caucasian population was 17.02% [95% CI,0.1227;0.2236].Conclusions:In terms of literatures included in this study, renal artery stenosis has a high prevalence in coronary heart disease patients.Races is not the heterogeneity source. However, there is a significant difference between the prevalence of Chinese population and foreign population. The prevalence of renal artery stenosis in Chinese coronary heart disease patients is obviously higher than that of foreign populations. In subgroup analysis, the Caucasian group shows the highest heterogeneity and more high-quality need to be included.Regarding to the risk factors of ARAS,there is no consensus among the large amount of researches around the world.Plenty of literatures support that coronary heart disease and peripheral vascular disease are independent predictors of renal artery stenosis. There are no definitive conclusions regarding to hypertension, diabetes, and kidney function. Therefore, for coronary heart disease patients in China, the author suggests that if there is no clear contraindications, renal artery angiography should be used to determine the lesions conditions.
