Objectives To investigate the expression of lymphocyte cytoplasmic protein 1(LCP1),tumor metastasis associated gene 1(MTA1),cytokeratin 19(CK19)in normal oral mucosa(NOM)tissues, paracancerous tissues and oral squamous cell carcinoma(OSCC)tissues, and to study the relationship between LCP1,MTA1,CK19 and clinicopathological parameters of oral squamous cell carcinoma. To find biomarkers related to the occurrence, development, invasion and metastasis of OSCC,and to provide new ideas and directions for the diagnosis and treatment of OSCC.Methods From January 2012 to December 2017,60 cases of paraffin-embedded tumor tissues of oral squamous cell carcinoma patients who were admitted to the oral and maxillofacial surgery department of the affiliated hospital of north China university of science and technology in tangshan, hebei province and received standard radical surgery for oral squamous cell carcinoma and negative surgical margins were selected.Paracancerous tissue in 20 cases;NOM tissue 20 cases.Immunohistochemistry SP method was used to detect the expression of LCP1,MTA1 and CK19 in NOM tissues, paracancerous tissues and OSCC tissues. The experimental data of each group were analyzed by SPSS17.0 statistical software. The differences expression of LCP1,MTA1,CK19 in NOM tissues, paracancer tissues and OSCC tissues were examined byc~2 test. The relationship between the expression levels of LCP1,MTA1 and CK19 in OSCC tissues and the clinicopathological parameters of OSCC was analyzed byc~2 test or Fisher,s exact test. The spearman rank correlation test analysis LCP1,MTA1,CK19 were relative express the correlation between them,P<0.05 think that there is statistical significance. Results 1 The positive expression rates of LCP1 in NOM tissues, paracancerous tissues and OSCC tissues were 5.0%,10.0%and 80.0%,respectively.There was significant difference in expression rate among groups(P<0.05).2 The expression of LCP1 in OSCC was correlated with N-regional lymph node metastasis and T-primary tumor(P<0.05),but was not associated with the age, sex, tumor site, histopathologic type and clinical stage(P>0.05).3 The positive expression rates of MTA1 in NOM tissues, paracancerous tissues and OSCC tissues were 0.0%,25.0%and 70.0%,respectively.There was significant difference among groups(P<0.05).4 The expression of MTA1 in OSCC was correlated with N-regional lymph node metastasis and histopathologic type(P<0.05),but was not associated with age, sex, tumor site,T-primary tumor and clinical stage(P>0.05).5 The positive expression rates of CK19 in NOM tissues, paracancerous tissues and OSCC tissues were 0.0%,30.0%and 85.0%,respectively.There was significant difference in the expression rates among groups(P<0.05).6 The expression of CK19 in OSCC was correlated with N-regional lymph node metastasis, histopathologic type and clinical stage(P<0.05),but was not associated with age, sex, tumor site and T-primary tumor(P>0.05).Conclusions 1 The positive expressions of LCP1,MTA1 and CK19 in OSCC tissues were significantly higher than those in NOM tissues and paracancerous tissues.2 The positive expression of LCP1 was stronger in OSCC patients with lymph node metastasis or higher T stage. The positive expression of MTA1 was stronger in OSCC patients with lymph node metastasis or lower pathological grade. The positive expression of CK19 was stronger in OSCC patients with lymph node metastasis, lower pathological grade or higher clinical stage.3 They all play a certain role in promoting the occurrence, development, invasion and metastasis of OSCC,and they are interrelated and positively correlated with each other, and play a synergistic role in the formation of malignant features of OSCC.Figure 9;Table 13;Reference 135...
