Effects Of Self-made Gengnian Fang On Hormones And Quality Of Life In Perimenopausal Syndrome

Objective: To provide reference for clinical diagnosis and treatment of this disease,and to investigate the clinical effect on treatment of kidney deficiency perimenopausal syndrome,and the quality of life and serum hormone levels(E2,FSH,LH)with Self-made Gengnian Fang.Methods: Sixty patients with kidney deficiency type perimenopausal syndrome who meet the standard were randomly divided into two groups,30 in each group.During 8 weeks,the observation group take oral Gengnian Fang and Femoston(1/10),and the control group take oral Femoston(1/10).Filling in the TCM Syndrome Rating Scale and the Quality of Life Scale(MENQOL),and detecting the serum E2,FSH,and LH.Then make evaluation by statistical methods for comparison.Result:1.Efficacy analysis: The 30 cases in the observation group,8 cases(26.67%)were cured,10 cases(33.33%)were markedly effective,9 cases(30.00%)were effective,3 cases(10.00%)were ineffective,the total effective rate was 90.00%;the 30 cases in the control group,4cases(13.33%)were cured,7 cases(23.33%)were markedly effective,11 cases(36.67%)were effective,8 cases(26.67%)were ineffective,and the total effective rate was73.33%.The observation group was better than the control group(P<0.05).2.Scoring results of TCM syndrome: The total score of the observation group decreased from 32.53±10.02 before treatment to 9.83±7.90 after treatment;the total score of the control group decreased from 31.27±10.27 before treatment to 14.90±8.21 after treatment.It is effective for the two groups after treatment,and the scores of the observation group weresignificantly lower than those of the control group(P<0.05).By comparing the improvement on the soreness and weakness,drying and sweating,irritability,palpitations and insomnia,frequent micturition,and dim complexion,the total effective rate of the observation group was superior to that of the control group(P<0.05).3.Scoring results of MENQOL scale: After treatment,the two groups of patients in the four dimensions(vasomotor dimension,psychological dimension,physiological dimension,sexual life dimension)were significantly improved(P < 0.05),but for the improvement on the quality of life,the observation group was superior to that of the control group(P<0.05).4.Results of Serum hormone level: After treatment,there was significant changes(P<0.05)in serum E2,FSH and LH in the two groups.That is,E2 level increased,LH and FSH levels decreased.After treatment,in comparison with the control group,P<0.05,which was statistically significant,and the observation group was more effective in improving serum hormone levels.Conclusion: Self-made Gengnian Fang is effective in the treatment of patients with kidney deficiency perimenopausal syndrome,which can significantly improve the symptoms of perimenopausal patients,improve serum hormone levels and improve the quality of life of patients.
