Object:To explore the feasibility and safety of laparoscopic gastrectomy in patients with history previous abdominal surgery who have gastric cancer.Discussion about feasibility, safety laparoscopic gastrectomy. Methods : In this retrospective study,we reviewed 171 patients from a database who underwent Laparoscopic gastrectomy(LAG)at our hospital from March 2013 to December 2017.They were divided into the following groups: Group A: patients with a history of upper abdominal operation(n=52),including 12 patients with Remnant gastric cancer;Group B:patients with a history of lower abdominal operation(n=110);Group C:patients with a history of upper and lower abdominal operation(n=9).The intra-operative and postoperative parameters were compared,as well as postoperative complications, operation time, and survival rate. Results:Patients in B Group were significantly younger(62.31±10.72 vs71.22±11.3,p=0.01).There were significantly fewer patients in C group were significantly fewer(178.25±187.5 vs 102.2±43.81,p=0.02).Gender,ASA scores,BMI,tumor and technique related factors were similar within groups, including operation time and postoperative complications rates. Conclusion:Laparoscopic gastrectomy is feasible and safe for patients with a previous history of abdominal surgery.
