Objective:To assess the effect of topical use of recombinant bovine basic fibroblast growth factor(rbFGF)gel on facial skin lesions in patients with rosacea.Methods:476 patients who were diagnosed rosacea by the dermatologist in the Department of Dermatology of the Department of Dermatology,Lanzhou General Hospital during 2016.03~2017.06 were collected and analyzed the general condition.230 patients with Demodex mite-induced rosacea who received treatment with ornidazole were randomized to rbFGF gel divided into treatment group(n=115)and control group(n=115)randomly without revealing the group identity. The treatment group was treated with ornidazole(0.5g,p.o,bid,4 weeks)combined with topical application of rbFGF gel over the skin lesions(0.2 g/cm~2,bid,8 weeks),while the control group was given the treatment of ornidazole along. All patients were followed up for 6 months and 29 patients lost.A total of201 patients with rosacea were included in the statistical analysis.Skin lesions of all patients were scored before and after treatment and analysis. Results:Among the 476 rosacea patients, there were 353 female patients(74.16%)and123 male patients(25.84%);291 patients(61.13%)aged 30~50 years old;352 patients(73.95%)with the course of disease more than half a year.At the end of the 2,4 and 6 months of follow-up,the total efficiency rate for patients in the treatment group were significantly higher than those in the control group(70.87%vs.53.06%%,86.41%%vs.74.49%,and96.12%%vs.79.59%,respectively,P<0.05).Conclusion:Rosacea is a chronic disease with a long course and occurs in 30~50 year old women.rbFGF gel significantly improve skin lesions on rosacea patients after treating with anti-Demodex.It can overcome the aggravation of skin lesion during the treatment.
