Study On The Relationship Between Menstrual Status And Solar Terms,Emotional State And TCM Syndrome Factors In Female Methamphetamine Addicts

Objective: To study the menstrual status of female methamphetamine addicts by epidemiological methods and scale techniques,and the relationship between menstruation and solar terms,emotional state and TCM syndrome elements were analyzed,and to provide basic research for the treatment of menstrual abnormalities in female methamphetamine addicts and traditional Chinese medicine anti-relapse.Methods:1.396 female methamphetamine addicts were selected as the research object,and the 2016 edition of Fuzhou Compulsory Detoxification Personnel Basic Background and Health Survey Questionnaire was used to conduct a questionnaire survey.The general epidemiological characteristics,menstruation and four diagnostic information of methamphetamine addicts were collected,and TCM syndrome elements were extracted by the syndrome factor differentiation method to explore the relationship between menstruation and TCM syndrome elements.2.227 cases that met the requirements and completed the " World Health Organization Emotional State Questionnaire" and " Menstrual Symptoms Scale MDQ" and menstruation-related conditions were selected from the 396 cases mentioned above.Menstrual-related conditions,emotional state,four diagnosis and solar terms information were collected,TCM syndrome elements were extracted by the syndrome factor differentiation method,and the relationship between menstruation and solar terms,emotional state and TCM syndrome elements were analyzed.Results:1.Basic situation:The age of female methamphetamine addicts is mainly distributed between 21 to 40 years old,with an average age of(32.22±8.152)years old,the drug-using period with an average of(6.27±5.491)years.Most of them are unmarried,unemployed,junior high school educated and simply taking methamphetamine.The relapse rate was as high as 95.5%.2.Health and menstrual conditions:79.8% of women will suffer from varying degrees of deterioration of health and 60.4% of women will suffer from abnormal menstrual changes after taking methamphetamine,such as black or blood clots,late menstruation or irregular menstruation.3.Characteristics of TCM Syndrome Elements:The distribution of disease location syndrome elements for female methamphetamine addicts is mainly kidney,liver,spleen and heart from high to low.The distribution of disease nature syndrome elements is mainly four deficiency syndrome elements of qi deficiency,yang deficiency,blood deficiency and yin deficiency from high to low,followed by solid syndrome elements of qi stagnation,dampness,phlegm and heat,and the main disease location disease nature syndrome elements have serious pathological damage.4.The relationship between Menstruation and TCM Syndrome Elements:There is a correlation between menstruation and TCM syndrome elements.Prolonged or shortened menstrual interval is positively correlated with syndrome elements of liver,qi deficiency,kidney and yang deficiency.Irregular menstruation is positively correlated with gallbladder,lung,cold,essence deficiency,spleen,qi stagnation,phlegm,mind and blood stasis.Menstrual blackness or blood clots are positively correlated with gallbladder,lung,cold,heat,dampness,phlegm,stomach,heart,mind and blood stasis.Amenorrhea is positively correlated with essence deficiency,dampness and phlegm.5.Menstrual Quantity,Color and Quality of Menstrual Period and Menstrual Symptoms in Different Solar Terms:Menstrual Abnormalities in Female Methamphetamine Addicts Involve Menstrual,Menstrual Quantity,Color,Quality and Menstrual Symptoms Abnormalities.Among them,the distribution of autonomic nervous response in the menstrual symptoms of thin,thick,reddish color and menstrual symptoms at different solar terms is statistically significant.The occurrence frequency of rare menstruation and light red color is the highest in Qingming and the lowest in the Summer Solstice.The frequency of menstruation with less menstruation and heavy menstruation decreased from the Summer Solstice to Slight Snow,the Beginning of Autumn and Qingming.The scores of autonomic nervous reaction from high to low were the Beginning of Autumn,Qingming,the Summer Solstice and Slight Snow.6.The emotional state characteristics of different solar terms:The two kinds of negative emotions of Tension-Anxiety,Confusion-Bewilderment have statistical significance in different solar terms.The scores of Tension-Anxiety,Confusion-Bewilderment decreased from Qingming to the Beginning of Autumn,Slight Snow and the Summer Solstice.7.The relationship between menstruation and solar terms:Qingming and the Beginning of Autumn are the influencing factors of menstruation.The Beginning of Autumn is a risk factor for irregular menstruation and reddish menstruation,and a protective factor for bright red menstruation.Qingming is a risk factor for reddish menstruation and thin menstruation,and a protective factor for thick menstruation.The Beginning of Autumn is positively correlated with autonomic nervous reaction and attention deficit,while Slight Snow is negatively correlated with autonomic nervous reaction,attention deficit and water and sodium retention.8.The relationship between menstruation and emotional state:The shortening of menstrual interval,irregular menstruation,negative emotions,autonomic nervous reaction,pain,water and sodium retention are positively correlated with five types of negative emotions.Shortening menstruation is positively correlated with Tension-Anxiety,Anger-Hostility.Behavioral changes are positively correlated with Tension-Anxiety,Depression-Dejection,Fatigue-Inertia,Confusion-Bewilderment,and negatively correlated with Vigor-Activity.Decreased attention is positively correlated with Tension-Anxiety,Depression-Dejection,Fatigue-Inertia,Confusion-Bewilderment.9.The relationship between menstruation and TCM syndrome elements:There is a correlation between menstruation and TCM syndrome elements,and both are positively correlated.Interval delay is positively correlated with liver and qi stagnation.Shortening interval is positively correlated with qi deficiency.Irregular menstruation is positively correlated with liver.Dysmenorrhea is positively correlated with blood deficiency.Menstrual reddish color is closely related to heart and blood deficiency.Negative emotions are closely related to liver,mind,blood deficiency and blood stasis.Behavioral changes are closely related to heat,mind,blood deficiency and blood stasis.Autonomic nerve reaction is closely related to gallbladder,heat,mind and blood stasis.Decreased attention is closely related to heat,heart,mind and blood stasis.Pain is closely related to heat,heart,mind and blood stasis.Water and sodium retention is positively correlated with gallbladder,cold,heat and mind.Conclusions:1.Female methamphetamine addicts are mainly unmarried,young,unemployed and with low educational background,and have a high relapse rate.It is suggested that drug knowledge propaganda should be strengthened to improve women's resistance to drugs.In addition,women's education rate and employment rate should be increased.Drug addicts should be given more humanistic care and employment guidance.At the same time,psychological counseling should be strengthened to guide them to form a correct outlook on life and values and help them return to their families and integrate into society.2.Female drug abuse may lead to varying degrees of poor health and abnormal menstrual changes.3.Female methamphetamine addiction can cause functional impairment of multiple viscera(kidney,liver,spleen,heart,etc.),deficiency of qi,blood,body fluid,and clinical manifestations are mainly deficiency,which is a pathological change mixed with excess and deficiency.4.Menstrual abnormalities and the severity of negative emotions in female methamphetamine addicts have certain solar terms regularity,meanwhile menstruation and emotional state are correlated.Qingming and the Beginning of Autumn solar term have significant effects on menstruation and emotional state.It is suggested that the regulation of menstruation and the prevention of relapse in clinical detoxification can be treated according to the principle of " time-based and appropriate" and psychological intervention should be strengthened with consideration of emotional factors.5.There is a correlation between menstrual changes and TCM syndromes in female methamphetamine addicts.We should pay attention to female menstruation in clinical detoxification work.
