Objective To observe the changes of urinary AQP2(Aquaporin 2,AQP2),AQP3(Aquaporin 3,AQP3)and AQP6(Aquaporin 6,AQP6)levels before and after treatment in children with primary nephrotic syndrome(PNS)treated by integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine,in order to further improve the pathogenesis of PNS in children and clarify the treatment of children with primary nephrotic syndrome(simple type)by integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine. The mechanism of action is to improve the clinical efficacy.MethodsTwenty outpatients and hospitalized who were admitted to the People's Hospital Affiliated to Fujian University of Traditional Chinese Medicine and the Second People's Hospital Affiliated to Fujian University of Traditional Chinese Medicine were selected as the treatment group, and 20 healthy children in the physical examination center of our hospital were selected as the control group. The levels of AQP2,AQP3 and AQP6 in urine and the quantitative levels of serum albumin, serum cholesterol and 24-hour urinary protein were observed before and after treatment.SPSS25.0 statistical software was used to analyze the data. Results 1.Before treatment, there was no significant difference in sex and age composition between the two groups(all P>0.05),The levels of AQP2 and AQP3 in urine of the treatment group were significantly higher than those of the control group(all P<0.01),There was no significant difference in urine AQP6 levels compared with the control groups(P>0.05).2.After 4 weeks of treatment, the levels of urinary AQP2 and AQP3 in the treatment group were significantly lower than those before treatment(all P<0.01),but there was no significant difference between the treatment group and the control group(all P>0.05);There was no significant difference between AQP6 in treatment group and pre-treatment and control group(P>0.05);24-hour urinary protein quantification and serum cholesterol levels were significantly lower than those before treatment(all P<0.01),The level of serum albumin was significantly higher than that before treatment(P<0.01).3.After 12 weeks of treatment, the levels of AQP2 and AQP3 in urine of the treatment group were significantly lower than those before treatment(all P<0.01),and were lower than those after 4 weeks of treatment, but there was no statistical difference(all P>0.05);There was no significant difference in AQP6 between the treatment group and those before treatment and after 4 weeks of treatment(all P>0.05);There was no significant difference between the two groups(all P>0.05);24-hour urinary protein and serum cholesterol levels in the treatment group were significantly lower than those before treatment(all P<0.01),and serum albumin levels were significantly higher than those before treatment(P<0.01).4.After 12 weeks of treatment,18 patients with PNS were completely relieved and 2 were partially relieved. Conclusions 1.Urinary AQP2 and AQP3 levels in children with PNS increased significantly, suggesting that AQP2 and AQP3 may be involved in the pathogenesis of PNS in children. There was no statistical difference before and after AQP6 treatment. It may not be involved in the pathogenesis of edema,or it may be related to the shorter treatment time and smaller sample size.2.Urine AQP2 and AQP3 decreased significantly after treatment with integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine, suggesting that integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine treatment of children with PNS(simple type)may achieve the treatment goal by reducing the levels of AQP2 and AQP3 in urine.3.Combination of traditional Chinese and Western medicine in the treatment of children with PNS(simple type)can improve serum albumin, reduce serum cholesterol and reduce 24-hour urinary protein quantification. There are 18 complete clinical remission and 2 partial remission.
