Objective: This study was designed to investigate the diagnostic value of new parameters of contrast-enhanced ultrasonography(CEUS)quantitative analysis in thyroid nodules. Methods: We retrospectively analyzed 56 nodules in 44 patients who accepted both conventional thyroid ultrasound examinations and CEUS examinations in Shengjing hospital of China Medical University from September,2016 to December 2018.Study population were those who had thyroid nodules and were scheduled to accept fine-needle aspiration biopsy(FNAB)or surgeries. So their pathology result would be the gold standard for us to compare the sensitivity, specificity and diagnostic accuracy of qualitative grades, original quantitative parameters, new parameters of CEUS quantitative analysis and combined method, which was composed of new parameters and TI-RADS of ACR.We calculated the area under the curve(AUC)of receiver-operating-characteristic(ROC)curve analysis respectively. Results: The sensitivity, specificity of new parameters of CEUS quantitative analysis were 85.2% and 72.4%.And the sensitivity, specificity of qualitative grades and original quantitative parameters were 70.4%,82.8% and 88.9%,51.7% respectively. The AUC of ROC of new parameters of CEUS quantitative analysis, qualitative grades and original quantitative parameters were 0.844,0.814,0.700 respectively. The sensitivity, specificity and diagnostic accuracy of combined method were 85.7%,93.1% and 89.5%.Conclusion: The diagnostic value of new parameters of CEUS quantitative analysis was higher than both qualitative grades and original quantitative parameters. The union of new parameters and ACR TI-RADS have higher diagnostic value and can contribute to increasing diagnostic accuracy in thyroid nodules before operation. |
