The Correlation Between The Levels Of Serum P-selectin,PF4 And Clinical Severity In Sepsis:A Clinical Study

Objectives: To investigate the correlation between the level of serum P-selectin,PF4 and the severity of the disease in patients with sepsis.Methods: From September 2018 to November 2018,patients in the ICU of the first Hospital of China Medical University were divided into sepsis group and non-sepsis group according to inclusive criteria and exclusion criteria.The standard items were detected in ICU24 h,and the peripheral blood samples were collected to detect the levels of P-selectin and PF4.The levels of P-selectin and PF4 in peripheral blood samples were detected by ELISA method.The laboratory biochemical indexes,acute physiology and chronic health status score ?(APACHE ?),sequential organ failure score(SOFA),ISTH score,P-selectin,PF4,P-selectin / PLT ratio and PF4/PLT ratio were compared and analyzed by STATA15 software in two groups of patients entering ICU24 h.In subgroup analysis of sepsis group,the differences of P-selectin and PF4 between DIC group and non-DIC group were compared.The correlation of P-selectin,PF4,P-selectin / PLT ratio,PF4/PLT ratio with SOFA score and Apache ? score was analyzed.Results: The level of PF4/PLT in sepsis group was higher than that in non-septic group(P < 0.05).There was no significant difference in P-selectin and PF4,P-selectin / PLT levels;The levels of P-selectin / PLT and PF4/PLT in DIC group were higher than those in non-DIC group(P < 0.05).There was no significant difference in P-selectin and PF4 between DIC group and non DIC group(P < 0.05);P-selectin,P-selectin / PLT were correlated with SOFA score and APACHE ? score(P < 0.05),but PF4 and PF4/PLT were not correlated with SOFA score and APACHE ? score(P > 0.05).Conclusions: The levels of PF4/PLT in patients with sepsis were significantly higher than those in patients without sepsis,the levels of P-selectin / PLT ratio and PF4/PLT ratio in patients with sepsis induced DIC were higher than those in patients with non-DIC,these results suggest that platelet activation plays an important role in sepsis or sepsis DIC.And the levels of P-selectin,P-selectin/PLT ratio were significantly correlated with the severity of the disease.The results suggest that the development of sepsis and sepsis induced organ dysfunction may be involved in the activation of avariety of cells.
