Investigation And Analysis On The Present Situation Of Medical Information Disclosure In Weifang Public Hospital

Public hospitals are at the core of the medical and health service system in China.Weifang,one of the first pilot cities for national public hospital reform,has made an important attempt for the public hospital reform.The research on the status quo and on patient’s demands of public hospital information disclosure in Weifang will help public hospitals get the comprehensive understanding of their information disclosure.At the same time,indentifying and solving the problems that public hospitals encountered in the information disclosure will urge public hospitals to publish more comprehensive,useful and reliable information to the public,and reduce the conflicts between doctors and patients caused by information asymmetry.What’s more,indentifying and solving the problems will provide further protection for the patient’s right to know,and offer references to government departments for decision-making.Based on the theory of right to know,information asymmetry,and supply and demand of information etc.,through the combination of qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis,this paper analyzes the status quo of public hospital information disclosure in Weifang according to the research on the sample hospitals and patients.Through the analysis of the status quo,problems in the medical information disclosure of public hospitals in Weifang are summarized in this paper,which will provide the constructive guidance for improving the medical information disclosure level of public hospitals in Weifang.The establishment of the third party information query platform for public hospitals in Weifang is proposed here as the platform will bring the public hospital leaders’ attention to the information disclosure,ensure the comprehensiveness and objectivity of the information disclosure,improve the channels of information disclosure,implement the support from government and the supervision from different aspects,and provide comprehensive protection for medical information disclosure of public hospitals in Weifang.
