Objective:To evaluate the clinical efficacy and safety of zhizhulizhong decoction curing Functional Dyspepsia Postprandial Distress Syndrome(PDS),namely Taiyin Cold in Spleen and Abdominal Fullness,by observing the changes of TCM syndrome scores and clinical symptoms before and after treatment.Method:In this study,a total of 70 patients who met the inclusion criteria were randomized into a control group(35 patients)and an observation group(35 patients). The control group was treated with domperidone tablets, and the observation group was treated with zhizhulizhong decoction. The two groups of patients both took four weeks as a course of treatment. The changes of main indicators before and after treatment in the two groups of patients were compared, including TCM syndrome scores, clinical efficacy and functional digestive disorders quality of Life questionnaire(FDDQL),while blood routine, liver and kidney function, electrocardiogram, etc.,were taken as safety indicators.Statistical analysis was used to evaluate the effectiveness and safety of zhizhulizhong decoction.Result:1.A total of 70 patients were enrolled in the study,of which 67 patients completed clinical observation, including 1 case of shedding in the observation group and 2 cases in the control group. The total shedding rate was 4.29%.2.Baseline data comparison: There was no significant difference in gender, age, disease duration, and TCM syndrome scores between the two groups(P>0.05),which was comparable.3.The total effective rate of the control group was 69.70%,and the total effective rate of the observation group was 91.18%.There was a significant difference in treatment result between the two groups statistically(P<0.01).4.After treatment, there was notable improvement in TCM syndrome scores and FDDQL scores of both groups.Statistically, the significant difference between the two groups led to a conclusion that the observation group was significantly better than the control group(P<0.05).In improving postprandial fullness and early satiety, the observation group done the better than the other group, which the differences between them were statistically significant(P<0.01).In terms of improving inappetence, fatigue, constipation, there were statistical differences between the two groups(P<0.05),and the observation group had certain advantages. In terms of improving cold limb, belching, tastelessness and extensive vomit of water, there was no statistically significant difference in efficacy between two groups(P>0.05).5.During the treatment,no adverse events occurred in the two groups, and no obvious abnormal changes were found in blood routine, liver and kidney function and electrocardiogram and other safety indicators. Conclusion:Zhizhulizhong decoction has a good curative effect and safety in the treatment of functional dyspepsia postprandial distress syndrome.
