Objective: The study found a microstructural change in the white matter of patients with major depressive disorder(MDD).Diffusion tensor imaging(DTI)method for detecting white matter integrity has been widely recognized, and DTI technology is used to study the correlation between body mass fraction(BMI)and white matter integrity in first-episode female patients with major depressive disorder. To explore the related factors affecting the integrity of white matter in depression, and provide reference information for the pathogenesis of neuropsychiatry. Methods: In 2017.10 –2018.10 in China Medical University Hospital in line with the first psychological clinic collected disorder diagnostic criteria for major depressive woman.58 female patients and 57 cases of MDD age,BMI,education level matched control group of healthy women MRI scans, while completing the investigation and assessment of general information clinically relevant scale, and signed informed consent.Clinical data of the two groups of subjects were analyzed using statistical software. The magnetic resonance data were pre-processed using Matlab-based Panda software, and the DTI data of the patient group and the control group were compared using the two-sample T-test of spm8 software.Based on Matlab-based dpabi software correlation analysis method, the DTI image and BMI correlation analysis between the patient group and the control group were carried out,and the FA value of the relevant brain region was further calculated.Correlation between BMI and related brain FA values was calculated using the partial correlation test in SPSS 24.0 statistical software. Results: 1.Patient and control groups DTI Comparative there are two clusters of differences in brain regions, which are located at splenium and body of corpus callosum and right inferior frontal occipital fasciculus. The FA value of the patient group in the splenium and body of corpus callosum, right inferior frontal occipital fasciculus was lower than that of the control group. The BMI of the patient group was positively correlated with the FA value of the right external capsule(r= 0.531,p < 0.01).The BMI of the control group was negatively correlated with the FA value of the body, knee and pressure of the corpus callosum(r=-0.497,p<0.01).Conclusion: 1.Female patients with depression have abnormal white matter integrity in splenium and body of corpus callosum and right inferior frontal occipital fasciculus,it is suggested that the reduction of white matter integrity of splenium and body of corpus callosum and right inferior frontal occipital fasciculus may be a neuropathology marker of brain damage in patients with MDD.2.The elevated BMI in healthy female people impairs the white matter and the white matter of MDD damage in the corpus callosum, suggesting that abnormal corpus callosum integrity may be an important neuropathological basis for the high incidence of depression in female obese people.3.There is a positive correlation between BMI and right outer capsule in female patients with MDD.This change may be related to decreased dopamine levels and white matter compensation protection.
