| Objective:To detect the expression and clinical significance of NUSAP1 in bladder urothelial carcinoma.Methods:The expression of NUSAP1 in 84 cases of bladder urothelial carcinoma and 10 cases of normal bladder epithelium were detected by immunohistochemistry,and the relationship between NUSAP1 expression and clinicopathological features was analyzed.Western blot was used to detect the expression of NUSAP1 protein in T24 and SV-HUC-1 cell lines.Result:The positive rate of NUSAP1 expression in bladder urothelial carcinoma was 72.62%,and that in normal bladder epithelium was 10%.The difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05).The high expression of NUSAP1 in bladder urothelial carcinoma was not correlated with gender,age and tumor number(P > 0.05),but with tumor recurrence,pathological grade,clinical stage and metastasis(P < 0.05).The expression of NUSAP1 protein in T24 cell line was significantly higher than that in SV-HUC-1 cell line.The difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05).Conclusion:NUSAP1 is highly expressed in bladder urothelial carcinoma,and is related to tumor recurrence,pathological grade,clinical stage and metastasis. |
