Objective: By comparing the clinical efficacy of acupoint catgut embedding thera py and general acupuncture therapy in treating patients with qi-blood stagnation type back myofascitis,To explore the curative effect and value of acupoint cat-embedding in improving the clinical symptoms and quality of life of patients with qi-blood stagnation type of back myofascitis,To provide more effective methods for clinical treatment of the disease.Method: In this study,84 cases of back myofascitis were collected, they were randomly divided into acupoint embedding group and ordinary acupuncture group.Acupoint catgut embedding group was treated once a week,Two times is one course of treatment. After 5 consecutive treatments in the general acupuncture group,2 days off,10 times for a course of treatment. Both groups were evaluated for health education and safety. Both groups were observed after 3 courses of treatment. The total TCM syndrome score, visual analogue scale and functional disorder index of the patients with back myofascitis before and after treatment were recorded. The therapeutic effects of the treatment group and the control group were evaluated by statistical analysis,Come to a conclusion.Results:1.TCM symptom results: After 3 courses of treatment, the symptoms of both the wire embedding group and the acupuncture group were improved, but the total effective rate was 92.5%,it was higher than 82.5% in acupuncture group.the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);Among them, the three symptoms of pain, functional activities of the lower back and muscle stiffness of the back were compared by the two methods, there was a significant difference(P<0.05);And the embedded group is better than the acupuncture group, however, there was no significant difference in efficacy between the two treatments for tenderness(P>0.05).2.Pain and improved quality of life: After 3 course of,visual analogue scale and dysfunction index in both groups were lower than before treatment, there was a significant difference(P<0.05);And the acupuncture group was better than the ordinary acupuncture group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).3.Safety evaluation results: There was 1 case of adverse reaction in each of thetwo groups, statistical analysis, there was no significant difference in safety evaluation between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusions:Both acupoint catgut embedding therapy and general acupuncture therapy can improve the clinical symptoms of patients with qi-blood stagnation type dorsal myofascitis, but acupoint catgut embedding therapy is more effective, and it lasts a long time, save time for patients, provide time for the body to recover, easy to be adopted by patients,it is worthy of further promotion and research.
