Objective:The expression levels of E-cadherin and P120ctn in breast cancer were analyzed, and their expression differences in TNBC and non-TNBC tissues were compared.Combining the specific biological characteristics of triple-negative breast cancer, the relationship between the expression of E-cadherin and P120ctn in triple-negative breast cancer and tumor progression was analyzed. The feasibility of using E-cadherin and P120ctn for the prognosis evaluation of triple-negative breast cancer was discussed. Methods:In this study,851 breast cancer patients with complete clinical data were collected from the department of breast surgery,china-japan Union Hospital of Jilin University from January 2014 to December 2016.According to the immunohistochemistry and the general situation of the patients, the selected subjects were analyzed retrospectively.Clinical materials were collected in detail, including age, histopathological grade, tumor size, lymph node metastasis, clinical TNM stage, pathological type, lymphovascular invasion,E-cadherin,P120ctn and other information. The enrolled subjects were divided into TNBC and non-TNBC groups, and SPSS22.0 statistical software was applied.X~2,Fisher,Kaplan-Meier and Spearman were used to analyze the correlation between the expression level of E-cadherin?P120ctn and the Clinical pathological features of triple-negative breast cancer.Results:1.The positive rate of E-cadherin expression in the TNBC group wassignificantly lower than that in the non-TNBC group, with 47.1%(48/102)and70.1%(522/749),p<0.05,The difference was statistically significant. The positive rate of P120ctn in the TNBC group was significantly lower than that in the non-TNBC group(46.1%(49/102),70.6%(529/749),p<0.05,and the difference was statistically significant.2.In this study, there was no significant correlation between the positive expression of E-cadherin and the age and tumor size of patients in the TNBC group(p>0.05).and patients with histological grading(?level above),lymph node metastasis, lymphovascular invasion, pathological type, clinical stage significantly correlated(p<0.05).3.In this study, there was no significant correlation between the low expression of P120ctn and the age and tumor size of patients in the TNBC group(p>0.05),but it was significantly correlated with the patient's clinical stage, histological grade, lymph node metastasis, pathological type, and lymphovascular invasion(p<0.05).4.In this study, the abnormal expressions of E-cadherin and P120ctn in the TNBC groups were different in DCIS,DCIS-MI and IDC,and the differences were statistically significant(p<0.05).Moreover,the positive expression rates of E-cadherin and P120ctn in the three pathological types were significantly increased, presenting as DCIS<DCIS-MI<IDC.5.Patients with positive expression of E-cadherin and P120ctn in triple-negative breast cancer had better disease-free survival time and overall survival time, suggesting that the expression levels of E-cadherin and P120ctn had an impact on the prognosis of triple-negative breast cancer.6.The abnormal expression of E-cadherin in triple-negative breast cancer is correlated with the abnormal expression of P120ctn.The correlation coefficients were(r=0.981,p=0.000).Conclusion:1.The expressions of E-cadherin and P120ctn in the TNBC group and non-TNBC group were different and statistically significant.2.In triple-negative breast cancer, the expression of E-cadherin and P120ctn was negatively correlated with histological grade, axillary lymph node metastasis, lymphovascular invasion,TNM stage and pathological type.Combined with the positive expression of E-cadherin and P120ctn,triple-negative breast cancer patients had better disease-free survival time and overall survival time, suggesting that the expression levels of E-cadherin and P120ctn could be used to determine the prognosis of triple-negative breast cancer.3.The abnormal expression of E-cadherin and P120ctn in triple-negative breast cancer was correlated. Therefore, combined detection of them and combined with the clinicopathological characteristics of triple-negative breast cancer is of guiding significance in determining the prognosis of triple-negative breast cancer.
