With the rapid development of the information age,the internet has gradually become an indispensable part of people’s daily work and life. The growing adolescents’ uncontrolled use of the internet has already had a serious negative impact on their own physical and mental development. This study focuses on the college students group to explore the Internet addiction problem.(1)By constructing a structural equation nodel, systematically consider the influence of behavioral characteristics factors in the formation of Internet addiction, and explore the influence mechanism of behavioral characteristics such as loneliness, school belonging and psychological stress on Internet addiction from the school level.(2)The brain images of the internet addiction group and the healthy control group were collected by resting state fimctional magnetic resonance technique. The voxel-based morphological measurement method was used to process the data and the brain structure comparison analysis was performed. It was found that several brain regions of Internet addiction patients had a structural change.Extracting the brain gray matter density sequence and correlating with the Internet addiction tendency found that the gray matter density of the left caudate nucleus, right orbitofrontal cortex and right thalamus was significantly negatively correlated with the network addiction tendency.(3)The gray matter abnormal brain regions were used as regions of interest. The seed point correlation analysis method was used to explore the differences in functional connectivity patterns between the two groups. It was found that the functional connections in the brain emotional processing system, reward system and audiovisual system of Internet addiction patients were significantly weakened. The core brain regions in the emotional processing system and the reward system were selected. We used Granger causal model analysis and found that the effective connection mode of the internet addiction patients was abnormal, and the lack of excitatory effects between the amygdala and the insula was related to emotional regulation disorder. In the reward system, the inhibitory effect of the brain amygdala on the prefrontal lobe and the inhibition of several subcortical regions of the internet addiction patients are also closely related to the Inderlying pathological basis of Internet addiction.(4)Complex network theory and the method of graph theory were combined to construct complex brain networks of the two groups, and analyze their network small world characteristics, network attributes and central feature differences. The results showed that the information integration efficiency of brain in Internet addiction patients decreased, and the information transmission ability and integration ability of neurons in long-distance brain regions decreased.
