ObjectivesTo explore the correlation of C-reactive protein, renal anemia and renal function in chronic kidney disease patients without dialysis therapy.MethodsWe recruited 103 chronic kidney disease patients without dialysis therapy(CKD group)in our hospital from January 2014 to December 2016,and 30 healthy individuals(15 male,15 female)served as the control group.Their serum C-reactive protein(CRP),Serum creatinine(Scr)and hemoglobin(Hb)were assayed,we used the MDRD formula to calculate glomerular filtration rate(GFR).Then the patients in CKD group were redivided into five subgroups according to their CFR levels: group one(GFR?90 ml/min,mean of GFR is 102.35 ml/min,n=20),group tow(GFR 60-89 ml/min,mean of GFR is 73.00 ml/min,n=20),group three(GFR 30-59 ml/min,mean of GFR is 46.85 ml/min,n=20),group four(GFR 15-29 ml/min,mean of GFR is 21.71 ml/min,n=21)and group five(GFR<15 ml/min,mean of GFR is 6.82 ml/min,n=22).Related experiment data had been analyed by SPSS18.0 software. We compared the levels of CRP and Hb between the five subgroups and control group, explored the correlation of the changes of C-reactive protein, hemoglobin and glomerular filtration rate in chronic kidney disease patients without dialysis therapy.ResultsThere was no difference between control group and CKD group in terms of sex ratio, weight, age structure(respectively,P>0.05).When comparisons were made between CKD group and control group, the level of Hb was obvious decrease(respectively,P<0.05).Compared with control group, the level of CRP was not significantly increased in group one and two(respectively,P>0.05),while there were significant differences in group three, four and five(respectively,P<0.05).With the reduction of glomerular filtration rate, the level of CRP was elevated(the mean of group one, two, three, four and five respectively is 1.105,2.520,3.625,5.367,16.864 mg/L),but the level of Hb was reduced(the mean of group one, two, three, four and five respectively is 121.80,99.20,89.90,80.29,66.00 g/L).There was a negative association between the reduction of GFR and the level of CRP(r=-0.567,P<0.05).The rise of CRP was negatively correlated with the level of Hb(r=-0.649,P<0.05),while there was a positive correlation between the reduction of GFR and the level of Hb(r=0.944,P<0.05).Conclusions1.There was a micro-inflammation state in chronic kidney disease patients without dialysis therapy.2.The more deteriorated renal function suggest the higher levels of micro-inflammation state and anemia in chronic kidney disease patients without dialysis therapy.3.Micro-inflammation state maybe had a positive impact on the appearance of renal anemia in chronic kidney disease patients without dialysis therapy.
