Objective: In this study, through a retrospective study of hepatitis B cirrhosis ascites(ballooning)patients, the distribution law of TCM syndrome types of this disease is discussed, and the characteristics of syndrome differentiation and classification, the correlation between each syndrome type and related factors, and the treatment and medication law are analyzed to provide objective basis for clinical diagnosis and treatment of this disease. Methods: Through consulting the patient cases from January 2014 to December 2018 in the affiliated hospital of Changchun university of traditional Chinese medicine,166 patients who met the criteria were selected as the research objects, strictly following the admission and discharge criteria. The basic information of the selected patients was collected,an EXCEL database was established, and SPSS22.0 software was used for statistical analysis. The correlation between different syndrome types and related factors was observed, and the characteristics of TCM syndrome differentiation and classification of hepatitis B cirrhosis ascites(ballooning)and its treatment and medication laws were summarized.Results:1.Distribution of TCM syndromes: 71 cases(42.78%)> 40 cases(24.10%)> 31 cases(18.67%)> 16 cases(9.64%)> 5 cases(3.01%)> 3 cases(1.81%)of liver and kidney yin deficiency. There were significant statistical differences in the distribution of each syndrome type,P<0.01.2.Distribution of age and sex: The onset age is mainly 41-70 years old, accounting for 91.56%;The male/female ratio is 1.52: 1;The gender distribution of patients with this disease has significant statistical difference,P<0.01.3.Ascites age distribution: The largest proportion of patients with ascites age ?5 years was 165,accounting for 99.4%.4.Ascites depth: Ascites depth is the highest frequency with ?10cm,accounting for 81.92%.5.Distribution of main symptoms: abdominal distension, fatigue, dry mouth and bitter taste, poor sleep, yellow urine and scanty urine are the top 10 symptoms with the highest frequency of main symptoms.6.correlation analysis between TCM syndrome types and objective indicators: in ALT,AST,ALP and ALB groups, there is no statistical significance between the syndrome types,p > 0.05;In TBIL and GGT groups, there was statistical significance between different syndromes,P<0.05.7.application of the hospital preparation duxiaoganqing pill: the average number of days for patients who have used the hospital preparation is shortened from more to less than that for patients who have not used the hospital preparation.the order is: liver and kidney yin deficiency with water stoppage syndrome shortened(9 days)> spleen deficiency with water stoppage syndrome(7.93 days)> spleen and kidney yang deficiency with water stoppage syndrome(6 days)> blood stasis with water stoppage syndrome(3.14 days)> qi stagnation with water stoppage syndrome(1.06 days); There were significant statistical differences in the length of stay between patients with liver cirrhosis and ascites due to hepatitis b who used the hospital preparation duxiaoganqing pill and patients who did not use duxiaoganqing pill(P<0.01).8.Statistics of frequency distribution of traditional Chinese medicines: licorice, poria cocos,Ligusticum wallichii, alisma orientale,Bupleurum root, reed rhizome, angelica, cogongrass rhizome, etc.are the top 15 traditional Chinese medicines with the highest frequency used by patients.Conclusion:1.The distribution of TCM syndromes in patients with hepatitis B and liver cirrhosis is common.2.This study demonstrates that there is a certain correlation between the distribution of syndrome types, gender distribution,TCM syndrome types and objective indicators(TBIL,GGT)of hepatitis B cirrhosis ascites patients, which also preliminarily demonstrates the feasibility of using objective indicators to quantify TCM syndrome differentiation and typing of hepatitis B cirrhosis ascites patients.3.The application of the hospital preparation Duxiaoganqing Pill can shorten the hospitalization days of patients with liver and kidney yin deficiency, spleen deficiency, spleen and kidney yang deficiency, blood stasis and qi stagnation.
