Objective By comparing the clinical efficacy of conventional western medicine treatment and adding herbal-partitioned moxibustion combined with traditional Chinese medicine acupoint sticking in the liver and spleen area in the treatment of massive ascites in liver cirrhosis,it was confirmed that herbal medicine-partitioning moxibustion combined with traditional Chinese medicine acupoint sticking in the liver and spleen area was effective in the treatment of massive ascites in the liver and spleen area. The clinical value of ascites provides evidence for the development of clinical treatment plans for massive ascites in cirrhosis. Methods From January 2020 to February 2021,100 patients with liver cirrhosis and massive ascites who were screened by inclusion and exclusion criteria who were admitted to Shenyang Sixth People’s Hospital were selected.100 patients were divided into control group and study group according to the ratio of 1:1 by random number table method. The control group was treated with conventional western medicine, including salt restriction, liver protection, diuresis, albumin supplementation, and symptomatic and supportive treatment. On the basis of conventional western medicine treatment, the research group added herbal-partitioned moxibustion combined with traditional Chinese medicine acupoint sticking in the liver and spleen area.Efficacy evaluation and comparison wereperformed after 4 weeks of treatment in the two groups. The improvement of clinical symptoms(including abdominal distension, abdominal circumference, and 24-hour urine volume),laboratory test indicators(including liver function and renal function indicators),and disease progression(including progression to intractable ascites, liver and kidney)were compared between the two groups.Syndromes),cost-effectiveness(including treatment time to ascites resolution, treatment costs). Results 1.There were abdominal distension symptoms in both groups before treatment, and there was no significant difference in abdominal circumference and 24-h urine volume before treatment(P>0.05).24 h urine output increased. After treatment, the abdominal distension rate in the study group was lower than that in the control group(P<0.05),the abdominal circumference was smaller than that in the control group(P<0.05),and the 24-hour urine volume was higher than that in the control group(P<0.05).2.There was no significant difference in ALT,AST,ALB,TBil,SCr,PT and PTA between the two groups before treatment(P>0.05).PTA was increased, and PT was shortened. There was no significant change in SCr in the study group(P>0.05),while the Scr in the control group increased(P<0.05).After treatment,ALT,AST,TBil and SCr in the study group were lower than those in the control group(P < 0.05),ALB and PTA were higher than those in the control group(P < 0.05),and PT was shorter than that in the control group(P < 0.05).3.The proportion of patients in the study group who progressed to refractory ascites and hepatorenal syndrome was lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).4.The treatment time for ascites subsided in the study group was shorter than that in the control group(P<0.05),and the treatment cost was less than that in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion1.In the clinical treatment of patients with liver cirrhosis and massive ascites, the application of herb-partitioned moxibustion combined with traditional Chinese medicine acupoint sticking in the liver and spleen area can effectively relieve the symptoms of abdominal distension and abdominal pain, improve the diuretic effect, and reduce the abdominal circumference of the patients.2.Medicine-partitioned moxibustion combined with traditional Chinese medicine acupoint sticking in the liver and spleen area can improve liver and kidney function and control the progression of the disease in patients with liver cirrhosis and massive ascites.3.Herbal-partitioned moxibustion combined with traditional Chinese medicine acupoint sticking therapy in the liver and spleen area can shorten the time of ascites subsidence in patients with liver cirrhosis and ascites, and reduce the cost of treatment.
