Clinical Research On The Improvement Of Quality Of Life Of Knee Osteoarthritis Patients With "San Tong Method" Of Fire Needle

Objective: The purpose of this study is to observe the clinical efficacy of the "SanTong method" of fire acupuncture to improve the quality of life of patients with knee osteoarthritis,so as to provide clinical basis for the treatment of knee osteoarthritis with fire acupuncture,and also provide reference for the clinical treatment of osteoarthritis.Methods: 72 cases of patients with knee osteoarthritis according to random number table method were randomly divided into two treatment group and conventional group,36 cases in each group.The treatment group was treated with “SanTong method”of fire needle,and the acupoints were selected:Neixiyan,Waixiyan,Yanglingquan,Yinlingquan,Shenxi,Quxi,Heding,Xizhong,Weizhong,three times a week for2 weeks,followed up 1 month after treatment.In the control group,another 36 cases were treated with conventional acupuncture.and the acupoints as Xiyan,yanglingquan,liangqiu,Xiyangguan and Ashi were selected and treated 5 times a week for two consecutive weeks.The patients were followed up 1 month after the treatment.The two groups were matched with syndrome points: deficiency of kidney and pulp type: add Xuanzhong;eficiency ofYang and cold coagulation type: add zusanli;Blood stasis blocking collateral type: add Xuehai.At the end of treatment,WOMAC score,VAS score and SF-36 score of quality of life were comprehensively analyzed before and after treatment in the two groups to objectively compare the clinical efficacy of the two groups.Results:1.Clinical efficacy: after treatment,the total effective rate of the two groups was91.43% in the treatment group and 85.71% in the control group,with statistically significant difference between the two groups(P<0.05).2.Comparison of clinical symptom scores: the WOMAC score and VAS score of the two groups decreased after treatment compared with that before treatment,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05),indicating that both groups could improve the clinical symptoms of the patients.After treatment,the difference between the groups was statistically significant(P<0.05),indicating that the treatment group was superior to the control group in terms of WOMAC score questionnaire and VAS improvement.3.SF-36 score of quality of life: the scores of SF-36 scale in the two groups wereimproved after treatment compared with before treatment,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment,the difference between the two groups of SF-36 rating branches was statistically significant(P<0.05),indicating that the "SanTong method" of fire acupuncture was better than conventional acupuncture in improving the quality of life of patients.Conclusion:1.Both the "SanTong method" and the conventional acupuncture treatment of knee osteoarthritis have curative effects,but the clinical efficacy of the "SanTong method" is better than the conventional acupuncture.2.The "SanTong method" of fire acupuncture is better than conventional acupuncture in improving patients' clinical symptoms and improving their quality of life.To a certain extent,it eliminates the negative psychological effects of patients,restains their confidence in life and improves their quality of life.3.The effect of "SanTong method" of fire needle is true and reliable,which is suitable for clinical promotion.
