Objective:To investigate the risk factors and management of infection after trusb by studying the cases of infection after transrectal ultrasound guided prostate biopsy. Methods:The data of 453 patients with trusb guided by transrectal ultrasound from October 2018 to December 2019 in the First Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou University were reviewed, and the risk factors related to infection after trusb were analyzed. Results:Among 453 patients,110(24.28%)had complications,33(7.28%)had infection.According to the analysis of statistical results, preoperative catheterization, diabetes mellitus and prostate volume>45ml were all risk factors for infection after TRUSB(P<0.05).Conclusions:Transrectal ultrasound-guided prostate biopsy(TRUSB)is an effective and safe method for the diagnosis of prostate cancer. For patients with prostate volume>45ml,diabetes mellitus and preoperative indwelling, the risk of infection after puncture is higher. In order to reduce the incidence of postoperative infection and ensure the life safety of patients, adequate prevention and treatment measures should be taken in clinical work.
